Well, Miss Polly. I'm thinking an increase tonight, up to 6.5. (good thing I bought another pair of high power reading glasses this afternoon) Hard to see that as an increase in the big picture since a week + a few days ago she was getting 10 Units. Just one week ago today she was wrapping up her SRT. Wow! She's becoming more accustomed to the chaos of of multi animal, multi species house. Back in the windows here, sleeping out in the enclosure, bbbbbbb (Polly's contribution to the condo, GET OFF THE KEYS!), and not hiding at the +2 test/breakfast snack in the morning.
Had to see my oncologist today, every three months for the last two years. 100 miles one way. I like her tons but we've got to stop meeting like this! Yippee; I get to go on the every six month visit now. ('Bout time!)
Our visits are always the same. She knocks and comes in the exam room. (Why does she knock? What does she think I'm doing in there?)
Dr.: Well, how are you feeling?
Me: Just great. How's my bloodwork?
Dr.: Just great.
And that mostly wraps up the medical stuff. 200 miles round trip!!!! I once asked if we could do these check-ups by phone! Oh well, I got some cat food at Petsmart.
Then we talk about other stuff. Today, she asked about Polly. I shared a bit of our experience at CSU, acromegaly and SRT. She was pretty amazed and impressed that someplace had all that equipment and talent for vet services. She approves.
Our neighborhood is getting back to normal. We need the weekend to be peaceful and sleep filled. Let's just keep the plate empty for a couple of days.
