Thanks for the kind words last night, it never gets easier no matter how many times you go through it. Nikki was a sweetheart, she had been with us since she was 3 months old. She leaves a huge hole in my heart.
Wow, it's been a doozy of a couple of days, I'm waiting for the last shoe to drop at this point. Yesterday was losing Nikki, last night and today was the car...overheated on the road twice. It's at the shop and I'm without a car for several days now. I'm thinking it's margarita time while I wait for the third bad thing to hit me!
WCR: Tinkles is always Tinkles...nothing seems to ruffle his feathers! He keeps looking better all the time, his mane is getting very fluffy again. He looks like a lion lounging on the testing counter! He used to love being brushed, until he got sick....he finally is back to loving to be brushed again. He bounced last night, but his numbers have come down nicely today. I had to leave right after the AM shot this morning, and left plenty of food out for him...so far it looks like he ate enough to keep himself in good numbers while I was gone.
