Evening--EEKK! Think I did a fur shot this am, or something else went on here(maybe the stupid bubble mj needles)! She was good today, slept a little more..I gave her some steak, in addition to whatever food she ate, and she seemed happy..Cleaning peeps here today, so I spent time in the BR, so Moonie slept for a good long while..Cant wait for the meds to come already--Want my girl on Recovery road already!!

We Have High Wind warnings & poss. tornadoes(G-D forbid) for tonite nailbite_smile
DH is of course going out to a meeting..I will be nervous till he comes home!
Any how, all else is OK..Sending you all Hugs & Love & Appreciation for all the support..

We hates the fur shots! Nothing to do but wait it out and fix it at PMPS. I was struggling with that silly bubble issue on the MJ syringes and finally picked up some Terumo syringes and some calipers. I really like the syringes - they are a ton better imho. Calipers are great too. Anything to feel more confident and consistent is thumbs up in my book! :thumbup

Hope Moonie turns around tonight!

Ho Roni, sorry about the fur shot. I bet some of the juice still got in Moonie. I did see storm warnings for your area on TWC this morning. I hope the meds get here soon for Moonie, too! I know you are anxious to start. Thanks for all the vines and hugs for Maggie. We can feel them. Hugs for you and scritches and vines for Moonie,

me too. I think I gave one today as well. I'll know for sure tomorrow.


Hope that package hurrys up and gets to you.
At least Moonie is sleeping well and feeling the blues.....

Well bummer on the fur shot - Well, she will recover soon. Right Moonie?

And another bummer on the possible tornadoes :shock: I sure hope that doesn't materialize.

And a wish for a speedy delivery of Moonie's med!

Boo hiss on the fur shot and I hope she will get back on track. Hoping the tornadoes don't come to fruition. Sending safety vines:)

Glad to hear Moonie is feeling happy. Bummer on the fur shot, but she'll recover quickly. I hope you get her new meds quickly.

Fed Moonie steak today & she loved it... Called for the Meds & they said we should get it Thursday...
I will start them on Friday & stay with her Fri & Sat, but will be at a show Sunday...Hope she will feel better soon..I feel so bad that she is listless & hungry...
Trying to feed her a little more to keep up her weight..She ate it with gusto, but she is hungry a lot--Tries to vacuum the floor with her tongue,it drives me nuts!!
HOWEVER, She did sleep A lot more today & that was great! Trying to keep her comfy, That's it.
She is next to me right now, cuddled in a blanket..
Hope the meds arrive soon..
BTW I registered for the yahoo hyper T group & am waiting for them to approve my application!!!!

Moonie is in such great hands with you...Thursday will be here before you know it!!

The weather here has been scary today....can't wait for it to end. I hope you guys are safe!!!

Hi Roni,
Your application for the Yahoo group should be approved within a day. You'll find lots of helpful info. there. I hope Moonie's meds will come soon so you can start her new regimen. Fingers and paws crossed! Have you considered feeding Wellness? It is higher in calories than most foods. (For Rusty that's a problem, since he could stand to lose a pound, but he likes it a lot, so that's what he gets.)

Thinking of you. Stay safe in the storm. Most of the really violent weather is in the Albany area now.

I hope those meds get there pronto. Nothing like knowing what you have to do and not being able to do it right away! Thanks for the description of the Hyper T symptoms on your earlier post. I think I'll start weighing Neko more often. She has always been hungry due to the acromegaly. Plus I'm going to schedule the test at the vet 3 months after the SRT date.

Good luck on the weather there. I hope it heads out to water and misses everyone.

I hope the weather wasn't too bad today and tonight. That is scary, especially by yourself. Drag on the possible fur shot. Paws crossed for some better numbers tonight.

Alice, the moderator in the hyper t group, is amazing! I think she's experienced it all. I never took hyperT too seriously....it was no big deal for Gus and after six months, we had I131. It was harder for Teddi and Alice was a huge help.
 
Wellllll, the roof leaked from the hurricane like rain & winds we had here for a few hrs...Street flooded a bit, but we have new sewers so it all ran off--We are safe but have a pot collecting water where leak is---
AND MOonie is Blue :-D
She acted more normal today & that's good--Makes me feel things will get better soon..
Came down to blue, & is waiting for me in her fav room=the bedroom !!
Loves to be petted & loved on the bed, feeding & test-shoot also done in there, Boy does she have a Diva's life!!!
