WCR: had a great surf last night .. I'm not surprised it lasted until this morning. I have to go out for the day (my dad recruited me in finding my mom a pair of ruby earrings for their upcoming 40th anniversary) I'm sure mocha knew I had plans today ...

Over the course of a few weeks we reduced mochas food intake by a 1/4 can. Since then she has lost some weight. In my mind she is losing it to fast and I don't like it. I'm paranoid it's something else going on but peter assures me it is just the reduced food doing it's job. This is of course, what we were doing right before her diagnosis, reducing food, seeing lost weight and then we got the news. If money blew off trees I would take her in for a full blood check up just to calm my nerves but that isn't the case so I will just hope that nothing else changes in her attitude or appearance.

Good Morning Devon, You're pleased with that morning number, right? Congratulations on being able to get the weight off Miss Mocha, it's not easy, when they like to eat. :smile:

I'm impressed you've been able to get some weight off of Mocha. I want to do the same with Gabby. I'm just finding it hard given the HC "supplements" to her diet!!

Nice AMPS today and surf last night. Glad you are seeing results from the diet? Are you actually weighing her?

Emma needs to lose a bit too. It's so hard - I'm always afraid of not leaving her enough food when I leave the house, so I leave extra and she eats it all. :?

my problem to a "T" too.... certainly does not make it easy to get this kitty to drop a few pounds. I wish you luck with Mocha in that regard. Every time I think we are getting there we have a run of HC feeds and back up we go. AIyee!

Very nice amps this morning. Surf there mocha - OK?

well thanks for all the praises on getting some weight off of mocha. She has lost approx. 1lb since July 28. Not sure if the weight is coming off to fast or right on track. To me each time I pick her up she weighs less and less, but each time we measure her she is staying somewhat steady. The way we weigh her is, peter weighs himself and then he picks up mocha and reweighs himself. We just subtract peters weight from the total with mocha. It probably isn't the most accurate way to do it, but it's the only scale we have in the house. I don't really know what mocha should weigh, and I'm not sure how you find that out other then taking her to the vet and asking.

But now we are off to find my moms earrings, mocha ate an hour earlier then normal but since she is on the rise we think it's the best time to go.

nice that Mocha came right back down for PMPS.

I love spending other people's money, I hope you had fun jewelry shopping. :smile:
