Morning ~O) ~O) we're a little late this morning. Thanks so much everyone for the Vetty vines and support for Maggie. My computer keeps freezing in place while I'm typing. I keep running my Norton hoping no virus. I was on the phone with BD Customer Service with a problem with my own BD syringes that I use for a weekly shot. When I slip off the sleeve, there's no needle. I thought there was some trick as to why I couldn't find the needle, but turns out they're all defective! :?
Maggie seems to be feeling good and is right now snoring softly on the recliner. I will get the results today and will keep you posted. I noticed twice Maggie at the water bowl drinking for what seemed a long time. Her appy is good, and it looks like the pole toy is in a different spot, so there was some play time. So she doesn't seem that uncomfortable. No poo today, but this is her day off with the every other day plan we have in place.
Sorry I missed some of you after I checked out early -- Georgia, Serryn, Melanie, Dale and Marje. Thank you for the vines for sweet Maggie. Marje, yes, the Vet always does ithe specimen by cystocentesis.
Just a little humor here. This made me laugh:

Vyktor sent this message to Maggie, and it just made me laugh: :-D

I sendin my boxing kanagroo around to take care of that vet tech AnnBean
Mags Ize on my way to give you a proper cuddle, the way only I can do it, then you forget that handsome vet tech! - love Vyktorxxx
Vyktor, I will be waiting for my cuddle special from you, no more handsome vet tech, Love, Mags

I like that message to Maggie.
she does seem to have a lot of interested suitors.

Hope you have enough syringes that aren't defective.
I was just looking at my battery on my meter thinking I should get that spare or two now. It's been a couple of months and I don't know
when it could suddenly fade.

Keep sliding Maggie.!
Mamabean should drag that string around.

Paws crossed for the test results. They should be able to let you know right away if it is an infection, but they need to send the sample out for the specifics on type and what AB to use. Our vet will start Tess on Clavamox if the in house test shows bacteria to get a head start. If the C&S shows a bacteria that needs a different AB then we can switch, usually Clavamox is good for a lot of UTIs though.

Good grief on the defective needles. Syringes are the bane of our existence! Paws crossed for Mag's vetty results soon. Poo patrol wants to know....how goes things? ;-)

Maggie is remaining about the same with her bg and staying in the yellow. I was going to give her a poke break the rest of the day, but I guess I was worried.

Devon, thanks for your good thoughts on Maggie. Yes, even the BD syringes have problems. My Pharmacy is ordering me another box, but different syringes. I did find a few good syringes.

Hi Michelle, Maggie says thanks on the KTSS visit from Mannie and crew. She loved the lavender massage. And yes, isn't her Vyktor so funny! I mean, Maggie can't even have a human Vet Tech admirer!

Thanks Ann & Tess, he said he would call this afternoon. I had something I had to take car of mid morning myself, and then a stop at the Pharmacy, and then the Vet was out part of the morning.

Hi Anne & Zener, oh my, you're right as Maggie is due for a poo today. I almost thought this was her day off, but I just checked her calendar, and there should be one today. So far though, no cigar! Maybe if I give her a massage, it will help.

nOT SURPRISED BY THE bd NEEDLE EVENT!!!! I had so many events with BD I just could deal with it & changed to monoject...not tht they're so great either, but are better than bd.
Hope sweet Maggie will get her ABs & feel all alll better!! And Magical Poo will soon appear!!
Once the ab's start to work, she will feel better & numbers will go down--
You know you both have all our Love & support--Hugs from us! Feel good Mags we need you!!

Poor little Maggie. Waiting for the test results with you . . . hope all is revealed, and you can get started on a cure.

All our love, Dale, Emma and Don Maximiliano

Wow on the syringes! Gosh, I can't believe how shoddy diabetic supplies can be - it's crazy!!!

Poo and good test result vines coming your way!!!

Hi Ann,
I hope you hear from your vet soon so that you can get everything sorted out and under control. Amazing story on the BD syringes! No needles??
Maggie, you and Vyktor make a lovely couple.

Have a good evening, Ann, and I hope that all will be fine,

Ella & Rusty

Paws crossed for good vetty results today for miss Maggie. Neko is jealous of all the suitors that Maggie has. I guess the blonde tabbies do have more fun.

Amazing story on the BD's. That's all we have here and now I'm going to have to check the contents of the new boxes before finishing the old. Last thing I'd want is to be stuck without needles!

Hi Ann,

I hope Maggie's results come back early so she can get on some meds and get started with a cure. Poor girl! You can tell by her bg that she doesn't feel well. Maggie never gets that high usually.

I just ordered my BD lancets. I hope there's nothing wrong with those! I like their lancets the best.

Have to give Racci her meds, shot and food now so ttyl.

Melanie & RRacci
Have a great night!

I was hoping you'd hear from the vet today. I hope you will get some news soon and hope she doesn't have any renal issues.

I'm wondering howmyou feel about adding another drop? She's had six cycles at this dose and has onlynhad a few blue numbers. It's up to you.

Hugs, Ann. I know you are worried about your sweet girl. I'm glad to hear she was moving her pole toy around :-D
