Love that! Needle juice... :) It does appear that Luci is indeed on her way...she put on her high diving suit and dropped 100 points...so she's at least at the Tiki Hut...tell LT to 'wait up'...I think she's on her way... :)

Have a wonderful day Suzanne!

Hope you get to rest/nap today ...for me , when Elmo goes diving, it's not just ab a lack of sleep but the vigilance it takes ...praying for calm day today for you both, Suzanne :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

I'm going to try for a little nap today. DH is wonderful - making steel cut oats in the instant pot for us while I sit here and check up on all my fave kitties.

Hahahah! Suzanne,
Needle juice may take on around here! So, the proper usage of "needle juice" is 1/2 drop??
I have believed for a while your Long Tail wants off the juice . . . I still hope it can happen, of course.

It's a very miniscule amount. I'm testing at +2 to see what's happening. However, LT really never shows his true colors on a new dose until about day 3 or 4.

I know, Beth, it's a bit insane isn't it. We did some test draws, as instructed by Chris, and were shocked at the little amount. It shows us how even a tiny bit can have an effect.
I saw Chris's message to you last night / early AM and thot " what ?!?!" .....Chris is one of the first to help Elmo back in 2016 ...she is amazing and very skilled .....I am an LT fan and am watching with great interest your journey :bighug: What do you think turned LT diabetic ?? For Elmo , back in 2016, I truly believe it was the y/d Sci Diet my vet suggested for thyroid instead of Felimazole ( which he takes with no problem )....was just wondering what if you have an idea of what put LT diabetic ? Inquiring minds and all that

I'm sure part of LT becoming a diabetic is his always being a kibble cat. He got overweight which is probably what led to his diabetes. He supplemented with mice from outside. We live in the country and have haystacks near our home. Maybe, because he was a kibble cat, is why he has responded so well to the insulin and low carb food. I only wish finances would allow me at this time to feed both civvies canned food. They are both big boys. Jake is a big hunter and appears to be an ideal weight at this time. Fred, on the other hand is a Maine Coon cross and is a very large framed cat and overweight. I'm hoping when our budget allows, we can start them both on the same food as LT.
