A special remembrance for Mannie. It's been 5 months today since he crossed to the Bridge. Miss you bug guy!

Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (YUM! Elsa outdid herself this morning: PRIMO!), and Happy Wednesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is WACKY WEDNESDAY!!! Lola and Bug SWEAR that it won't be wacky pizzas, just wacky Wednesday. Whatever that means.... They were talking about holding a whack-a-thon marathon. Winners will get a wacky paw Prints Pizza! oh oh..... I liked it better last week when they were running around saying wacky wacky wacky. They is so weird. They is dressed really weird too, for their whack-a-thon. Maybe that is all they will do today: say wacky and dress really funny.... Silly kitties. so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot Breve's made from Sun-Dried Sumatra Rasuna beans. For my mocha fans: a VENTI Quad Cimmamum and Frango Mint infused white mocha/mocha blend with Frango chocolate chips melted within, topped with a cimmamum whip garnished with cimmamum sprinkles, white chocolate curls and frango mocha drizzle. ....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of mint and vanilla and cimmamum swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with mint chips and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are along for the ride!

I hope everyone had a great Tuesday yesterday. Seattle was fun, and I enjoyed the time with my friend. It was a nice visit. she's flying solo there this week, people on vacation and she's doing a three man job, and it is payroll to boot. I feel for her. She is stressed to the max. I cleaned here today, and then cleaned some more. Raked the yard, did the laundry, YAY: All caught up, at least as of this moment. I went through some stuff hanging out in the garage. Tossed what was no longer used or needed. I LOVE to purge things like that. I really need to do that more often. LOL. What an exciting day, huh! :roll: :roll:

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!! :cool: :cool: :cool: Lola so wanted to be my cleaning helper yesterday. She hung out in every room I did. Bug came in now and then to see what the big deal was, and promptly left when he saw no food was involved. :lol: :lol: Elsa never has been a fan of cleaning. The vacuum is a monster, the dust mop is it's evil twin, and the noise? well forget that. She always takes off for parts unknown, and once all done will show her smiling face once again, strut her stuff and head off to resume her nap, which I so rudely interrupted. :lol: :lol: Not Lola! She chases the vacuum, plays with the vacuum cord, bats at the dust mop, and is un-phased by the noise of the vacuum. I half expect her to hop on for a ride. not yet, but I can see that one coming. Mannie never minded the vacuum either. He did mind however when I moved the nanner stash to clean the carpet. That was a big no no! One day he decided to guard the nanner stash, and not let me move it. :lol: :lol: :lol: It remained that way going forward. Protect the nanners at all costs. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: What a cat! I miss him.

Have a great day everyone. It is a Nicholas and William day today, and Nicholas and I are off to the pool. The other Grandparents will watch William while Nicholas and I are at the pool. His mom will be coming after swim time, to spend some time, and then take the boys home. She is still working half days until 10/1. SWEET! I will try and get to condos when I can.

Sounds like you had a great day yesterday. Relaxing trip to the city and some purging. Those are all good things. :lol: Lola cracks me up. She is such a kitten. Tarragon is like that, everywhere I am and always helping. The vacuum is not welcome in my house though and all of the fur kids disappear until it is put away.

Hey Lil Bit Pit,

I had such a great dream. I dreamed of tuna water fountains, tuna water falls and an amazing tuna water lake that I was floating in the middle of. I am licking my paws and washing my face from my yummy tuna water surprise yesterday.

Now it's wacky wednesday again! nailbite_smile You know those two always play a trick on wacky wacky day! I'm not in the mood for any tricks, I'll take treats not tricks! So, please make sure those two are busy all day long making pizzas and don't have time to wacky wacky me.

I'm going to make my bean get me a nanner so I can honor Mannie. She keeps saying she will get me a nanner or two and never does! Well, I do know where the nip container is, maybe I'll open it and cover myself and make a mess in her bed! Wanna come over and join me in the nip fun.

Hi Melissa ~O) ~O) ~O) THX on yesterday - it was good. It felt good tot ravel, good to toss things out too. One has to love Lola. I had truly forgotten what it is like to have a kitten - into everything, curious abut everything and then acting upon what she sees. Very cool on Mr T. One has to love the helpers. THX on the double boy time. :cool: FUNS (!!), and I hope I survive. :lol: :lol:

Maui! GF! You dreamed all that? WOW. We gots to make it happen - for real! How mega cool would that be! uhhhhhhhh..... i know...... now it's wacky Wednesday, and all ready Paw Prints Pizza is practicing its whacking skills.... I will do my best on the wacky wacky thing! i SWEAR! OOOOOOOOOOOO! You gots to get your bean to get you a nanner. They is mega cool. Mannie gave me his when he went to the Bridge. I guard them over all else. Oh oh! You can get to the nip container? I am on my way - a nip party! ~~ Elsa, lil BIT PIT, so wanting wacky Wednesday to be over....
 
Mannie was a special kitty. I'll always remember him guarding his nanners from the vacuum. Most of my kitties want to "help" when I'm cleaning or rearranging things. I'd be more surprised if Lola didn't help you out. I hope you had a good time at the pool.
 
Aw, I have always loved that picture of Mannie....

My cats love to help with the broom and dust mop, but the vacuum is bbaaaaaaadddddd news - probably because I only bring it out once a year or so. We have hardwoods everywhere, so I only have to vacuum the couches...but 99.9% of the time, there is at least one cat on the couch, and I let them sleep, rather than vacuum :roll: :lol: ! Yes, they are my "excuse" for many, many things...avoiding cleaning, skipping out on family functions that I don't feel like going to, etc :lol: !!!

HI everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. Nicholas and I did make it to the pool today, the BIG POOL! Once again he really didn't want to have a thing to do with the beach play area. it is kinda odd, but I think he has wanted to be in the big pool for long that now that he can nothing else will do. So we spent most of our time there, playing buckets, jumping in, fetching things from the bottom of the pool. He had a great time. It is so strange not to have many people there in the mornings now. We had almost that whole big pool all to ourselves. SWEET! I will post the Picassa link in tomorrow's condo.

Hi Carla - thanks on Mannie! Me too on that memory. It was just so Mannie, cracked me up every time he did that. mad dash from wherever he was to guard those nanners. :lol: So agreed on Lola. THX on the pool too- we had a good time.

Hi Amy - Me too on that photo. It was so Mannie. LOVE the couch store! Nope, a for sure that one cannot vacuum when there is a kitty on the sofa. no way! I have done that too: used the kitties as my "excuse" for not doing things, YUP! Works for me. :-D

I love that picture of Mannie. We miss the big guy! Tomorrow night is the Full Harvest Moon and I know that Mannie and his GA pals will be partying along with the LL kitties.

Sounds like a great day in the big pool. Nicholas must be so happy to be able to swim there again. Glad you had a good day in Seattle yesterday.

Too funny on the vacuum cleaner and Lola's reaction. Rusty ignores the vacuum, but he makes a point of being close by when I vacuum--making sure that none of his stuff is disturbed.

Have a fine evening. We had a good hike today to a beautiful wilderness pond. It was a gorgeous day.

HI Ella - THX on Mannie's photo - it is one of my favorites of him. I did think of him and the other GA'S - time for another full moon party, and I wonder what they are preparing up there at Two Chef's Kitchen. Something wonderful! :-D We did OK today at the pool, and you are so right. He is very happy to have the big pool back. :cool: Rusty sounds alot like Mannie with the vacuum - his making sure all was well with his stuff. Of course sometimes Mannie took it a step further, panted himself on the nanners so I couldn't clean .... :lol: Your hike today sounds wodnerful. I am so glad you enjoyed it!

Hi Deborah - LOL on Shasta - I think you are right: co-founders of the anti-cleaning club! :lol: OOOOOOOOOOOOOO on Shasta and her good BG day. I will have to see what she did! I so hope that means good. :-D
