Good morning! Yet another pink amps. I may go ahead and open the new vial if her numbers dont come down soon. I also am not going to give her any more of the 12% carb food after the am drops, because it just keeps her too high. I just keep guessing what to do here as usual. Off to work and hopefully she will slide down easy today for mom. Have a great day everyone.

Yeah, so much of this is trial and error since every kitty is different....there just isn't a one-size-fits-all formula. But you are figuring out what works for Chi Chi...so awesome!!! Now it's time to work your way down a bit, little lady!

As you know I am in much the same boat,Laura. Before this change in the wrong direction I started giving 9% if Max was starting to drop too quickly. Otherwise he got 3-5% and that seemed to help with the bounces. I also used to think giving too much high carb food when he hit the 50's caused the bounce to get worse as well but the last few times I didn't give high carbs and this is one of his worst bounces if that is what is going on. I hope Chi Chi comes down today!! :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

Yes she did come down to green today without the mc food. She bounced as well to 309 tonight though. I am to assume the insulin is ok for now, but I still think Im gonna start a new vial on Sat. am, so I will be home in case she dives, and it wont be on moms watch. There is still about a 1/4 in the current vial which I got on 5/22. It was left out for over 12 hours one day, and a couple hours on 2 more days. To me, it is worth just starting the new vial, and if it doesn't help her numbers, oh well..Just want her to stop the bouncing. confused_cat Also, I will get some 9% and try that next, as the mc Im using is 12%.
