yes we survived the night -- thanks to Friskies shreds turkey and cheese with gravy, and Temptations treats

must remind myself when I'm exhausted, stressed, and being distracted by family, I need to doublecheck before actually injecting -- I only realized it when I sensed that I was pushing the plunger further than usual

Catcat doesn't seem worse for wear -- thank goodness we are on Lantus -- the depot must be full -- and not one of the in-and-out versions

doesn't show on spreadsheet but I did get up several times and feed him, just too zonked out to try to test

in the still of the night

(sigh) me too -- fell asleep a bit after 11 but did wake up several times to stumble in to give him a snack

now he's sauntering down towards the beach, maybe checking out the banana and guava trees/bushes after sliding down from the lemon tree

still had a bit of the shreds left over, so he gets a temporary MC boost (14% carbs) along with his usual LC (0% according to Dr Lisa) -- he may stay in yellows most of the day but with luck it will be LOW yellow, below renal threshold
 
I hope he comes down soon...even with a bit of extra juice on board...he's not really shakin' and bakin' those greenies yet is he?
 
nope, essentially I'm feeding the curve, waiting to see if the depot will release more than usual at a time, using the extra-carb food to more or less soak it up if that happens

plus he REALLY liked the shredded turkey with cheese -- he does like dairy, even sniffs my coffee flavored warm milk (pseudo-latte) -- so I'm adding a few morsels of that to his usual food -- and I hate to waste food but am not crazy enough to eat cat food out of the can

I'm the one shaking, still afraid of some of those greens -- he's gotten a bit too low a few times
 
okay, it's blue -- just barely ! +5.5 = 199 --- may check midafternoon, may wait til later, he often goes lower late

am so thrilled that the overdose didn't have nasty consequences

will work harder at getting greens tomorrow or next day, I need a vacation from family visit -- and from cranky DH
 
+9 = 187 -- right direction though with meter variance, almost the same ...

He promised he'd bring me a bunch of blue ribbons
To tie up my bonny brown hair

may not find many blue ribbons on the beach though, more likely kelp ...

oh, and my hair isn't -- and never has been -- brown -- started out golden blonde, gradually darkened to dishwater blonde, developed red highlights, now it's a mix of white, light blonde, strawberry blonde, and pale auburn
