Good afternoon LL!

Bob was feeling good this morning and had a nice cold nose! He ate both of his fuds and hung out with me while I put my make-up on. I think I did hear him trying to yak up the hairball last night, poor little fella. He's getting the coconut oil tonight again. I thought maybe I'll give it to him every other day - don't want to mess with his digestion too much. Thinking about stopping the dry food this weekend. UGH. Brings back bad memories. I just hate to get going on that and change his dose and everything only to have to start giving him the dry again.

Dara, just a thought as I went through H*** trying to wean off dry and you've had SO many food issues with Bob. Rather than take the dry away and have him go "on strike" again .... what about slowly starting to MIX they dry in with the wet .... at first maybe 50/50 for a few days and then down to 40/60 and so on. At first leaving a good part of the 50% on top and then slowly working it in .... I think if you make a slower transition, you have a better chance of it being "life changing" ......... just a thought :-D

I found a new treat that is really getting Shadow to eat the better foods that she always rejects.
I can bag some and send you a sample if you want to try before you buy.

They have other flavors too.
It's been a miracle for her. She does usually lick it all off the top while eating some of the food and I just sprinkle more to get her
to finish.
but she's now eating the "healthier" lower phosphorus foods because she love it so much.

Maybe it would help Bob to want his wet food more.

Good luck with the transition (again)! It's great to hear Bob is feeling good...hopefully that nasty hairball with be a thing of the past ASAP!
