So I'm off today, and therefore not following my new "extra early" workout schedule, which means this "+3" is much closer to a true "+3" than my workday "+3"s...and we haz  ! I'm pretty sure the change in my schedule, and therefore the change in her feeding/testing schedule is why we aren't seeing the lagoon "on paper" as much, but I will keep my eye on this trend to be sure that is all that's going on and nothing more.

So a couple big, exciting things happened with Miss Trix this morning. First, we had a Happy Crap Dash bcatrun_gif   ! She came running out of the litterbox room, down the hall, into the bathroom, into the shower, out of the shower, and back out into the hall. It has been SOOOOO long since I've seen her run...probably well over a year, if not longer! In fact, since it had been so long since I've seen that sort of spunk from her, for a second I was actually afraid something was wrong with her - such a crazy worrywort helicopter MamaBean! But, when she looked up at me with big, green playful eyes, I knew she was just having fun! It was amazing.

If that wasn't enough, shortly after The Dash, I saw her walk up to a plate of leftovers and eat from it, totally on her own, without me presenting the plate to her! I always leave a little something out, but I'm never quite sure who eats it, as Frankie and Zen will also snack on the leftovers. It was wonderful to see Trix do that...casually walk up to a plate and eat from it. I never ever thought I'd see that again, and I hope it continues to trend upward.

And now, she is being snugglebug supreme. Her fur is so soft, and her body feels so "solid" - know what I mean? She is spunky and full of feistiness.

I totally missed condos yesterday. Ugh...I just can't seem to get myself caught up! I'm working on it.....life has just gotten so hectic, but I have not forgotten my LL family....

Sending prayers out to everyone today, along with visits in between household chores. Have a great day, LL!

Yahoo!! Sounds like a great day for Trix indeed. :-D :-D :-D

It really does warm the heart to see our older kitties run, just for the fun and joy of it. Neko approves of Trixie's appy today.

Sounds like a big day for Mamabean, too! Woot woot on the happy crap dash ! I could just feel the joy in you as I read your post. I'm so happy for both of you! :-D :-D

Trixie, keep making your mamabean happy like this - it brightens my day to read a condo like hers today!

Yeah for Trixie!!

Sounds like she's having a most excellent day today and that's great!

After all you've been through with her, it's such a joy to hear how well she's doing and that she's feeling so wonderful :-D

Keep it up Trixie!

Yay for Ms. Trix!!!

Forget about the greens, what she is doing is SURE FIRE proof she is feeling better!!

So happy for you that you got to see this side of her again!

Now that report is a real smile-maker!! :-D Go Trixie!! Hope your dad is feeling better, sending continued healing vines to him and all of your family! :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

Yay Trixie!!! That's awesome that she feels so spunky!!

I laughed when I read that you thought something was wrong because she was running around...Billie did a quick sprint the other day, and I had the exact same reaction.

Hooray for her eating on her own too! That's all so cool.

It's so nice to hear that Trixie is feeling well. To see an older cat run and be playful makes you feel so good.

So very nice to hear about Trixie.

Jack's legs were so wobbly when we started this venture. I have been giving him Zobaline (B12) along with the insulin. I believe it helps along with the insulin of course.

Within 2 weeks his front legs were doing so much better and now 6 weeks later, he is climbing into Dad's favorite chair, on the couch and up on the pillows on the couch. His regular haunt.

I hear him at night running down the hall and it gives me peace.

May you enjoy those moments with Trixie often. Only someone who has gone through what everyone here has gone through will ever know the joy.

All the best,
Kevin
