Hi Everyone,
We had a good night. Rusty woke us up meowing loudly at one point. I think he forgot where he was! But we comforted him and all was fine then. This morning he is continuing his trip bounce, and that high yellow is also food influenced. His nighttime bowl of food was licked clean. The current cartridge of Lev is getting down to the bottom, so if Rusty's numbers stay high after tomorrow, we'll open a new one. Today will be a day of roaming around the city for the beans (after a noontime appointment). Early this morning I checked out my bike in preparation for the ride tomorrow. It is working fine.

Wishing all a good day and continuing to send vines to all in need.

Yo Kitties, yesterday was great. The Central Park hotdogs were super. Today let's visit our ancestors in the Egyptian galleries of the Met, have hotdogs from the cart in front of the Met and sit on the steps with the tourists while we eat. We can serenade the tourists with BMG songs. Then, guess what? The Brooklyn Museum has a special exhibition of CATS in ANCIENT EGYPT!!! A whole show devoted to our ancestors!! We'll take the subway, see the show, and then roam around Prospect Park. Tonight we'll party on the roof of my building.
See you all soon,
Rusty

OK, Rusty, nothing to worry about you are w/ your beans and you know NYC by heart now!

Ella, have fun wandering around town. I love just going out and exploring.

Oooooo, I think I ate too many dogs yesterday, but they seem to be good for my BG so to keep the beans happy I'll have to eat more today! A special exhibit all about our ancestors! Kewl! But we have to watch Emma and Lola or they will be in the exhibits posing! -- Tess

Don't worry, Rusty, I sometimes wake up and don't know where I am, too, when travelling. As long as your beans are there, you're just fine!

Hey Rusty! Me 'n Sasha loved them hotdogs! She said I ate too many, but I like it when my tummy is full. I still remember what it was like when it was empty all the time. Sasha is very excited about the museum. She says the kitties there are her direct ancestors, 'cuz she looks like them! I think she's getting a little full of herself! Not sure if she should go with us, after all! I can't wait for more hotdogs! - Cinco

Poor Rusty. I guess he just needed a little loving and some reassurance. I hope he slides down today.

I can't wait to see the special exhibit about our ancestors. And more hotdogs. Yum.

Looks like a nice slide for Rusty too!

Sounds like you're having a blast in NYC too Ella :-D

Hi again,
I went back to the incredible pet food store, Whiskers. They have EVERYTHING. So I stocked up on Dave's 95% chicken and chicken liver, on Paw lickin' chicken, on Wellness Turkey and Wellness chicken, and on Whole Life f/d chicken and turkey treats. This store won't even sell dry kibble for cats. Then I went to the big Wednesday farmers' market in Union Square and got apples and heirloom tomatoes. Of course I wanted to buy everything there. On Saturday we'll be in Prospect Park and will go to the big farmers' market in the Grand Army Plaza--the one we used to go to every week.
I have all my stuff ready for the bike ride tomorrow. The day promises to be a bit warmer, but not too warm (by NYC standards: I'll probably roast!).

Everyone have a good evening. Don't worry about your kitties. They are up in the roof garden singing their songs.

Ella

Yo Kitties, What a great day. Did you all see the ancient cat that looked just like Zener? Maybe it WAS Zener, playing a trick on us. Anyway, we had fun. It's nice and cool up here on the roof tonight. We can plan for tomorrow. I think the morning should be devoted to eel fishing from the East River Prominade. Then Neko and Tess can fix eel sushi for lunch, which we can eat on the Circle Liner as we sail around Manhattan Island. For dinner we can check out some of the famous NYC pizzarias: John's on Bleecker St., Patsy's, Ray's in the Bronx, and the Midwood Pizzaria in Brooklyn. Bug and Lola want to get some ideas for making real NYC pizza. Elsa is going to take notes.
