Yesterday the kitties were thrilled to have me at home in bed all day. I feel much better and hope I will have the wherewithal to get through my very busy work day. Both cats seem to be improving though Olive is still scratching but there is no flea dirt around and I haven’t gotten bitten recently so that is all good.

Ruby’s started the day with a bounce from her steep drop last night at PMPS but she seems to like this dose and I’m going to try to keep her here for a while. Hopefully now that we can see the end of the flea saga she will get fewer high numbers as it must be super stressful to be attacked all the time! My poor babies!

Hope everyone has a great day!:bighug:

Ruby is sick. She has had a mild URI for a while now but it's gotten worse. I came home and she's been rolled up in a tight ball on the bed, not eating. She is squinting her left eye and it is very watery. I heard her sneeze 5 times in succession when I got home from work.

Frank is taking her to the vet tomorrow to be vaccinated and boarded anyway, so I really hope they can see what is going on with her. Sigh.

I would not vaccinate a sick cat. My vet will never do it.

Yes. I am thinking they could keep her in a separate area away from the general boarding area. My vet has a separate area for my sick cats. Just make them aware of the situation.
Maybe if she is sick and they treat her for it they won't charge me for boarding. I've had to deal with so many logistics because of these fleas that I am losing my mind.

Oh Katherine, I'm so sorry Ruby isn't feeling well. I hope the vet gives her something for the URI or has she already been given something .
I remember when Tyler had the URI he was sneezing like crazy and watery eyes
I hope your vet can put Ruby and Olive in a separate area so they won't have to be vaccinated and treat Ruby for the URI. They can be vaccinated at a later date
I'm glad you're feeling better . Those friggin fleas have caused so many problems .
I hope everyone of those bast**ds die a horrible death after all the trouble they caused for all of you .I'm sure you'll let us know how it goes and how Ruby makes out.
I'm glad Olive is feeling much better .♥:bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Katherine, so sorry I missed that you were not feeling well .....as if the flea fiasco hasn't been enough (swear I couldn't remember how to spell enough) not to mention all the worry about Ruby, Olive and Frank. You are a warrior, Wonder Woman, honestly :joyful: Hope all settles down soon and maybe you can all have a nice Sunday, are you working tomorrow? Just hope you are all on the mend. Will check in at normal hours tomorrow. Hope you all are sleeping well. :bighug::bighug::bighug:
