Hello! Max is doing well. I got up late to feed him. He could have gone downstairs to eat anytime, but no, he wanted me to be involved! So, he ate one hour before I tested him at 9:00 a.m.

Last night he did something odd -- he drank and drank and drank and drank for what seemed like ages at his fountain. Don't know what that's about, but it has been very dry and hot here. It was 105 day before yesterday and in the 90s yesterday. He likes to stay upstairs although it's hotter up there (unless the AC is on.) Maybe he's expecting the AC to come on, and he'd rather be there than down where it's cooler most of the time. He sits right in front of the unit. Crazy cat.

112 following food with no juice... I'd say that's pretty darn good!

Hi Dale, is this OTJ Day 2? Maggie's also drinking a lot, but I didn't attribute it to the heat, but that's a thought! I have the A/C on most of the time for her. Have a nice day.

Hi. Because of the crazy drinking of water yesterday, I decided to test him at what would be +4 if he were getting shots, and I got an 83. Yea!!!!!!!

Michelle, Hope Mannie's doing well today, and that you had a great time at the river!

Wendy, Yes, I think 100 should be something other than Blue! LOL

Thanks, Chris, Tucker's fine, right? I hope so. I'm sure the food could do that, and apparently, just because it's on the list is no guarantee -- I've seen a few posts that indicate the formula was changed for this food or that. I posted on your thread a list that I got from someone else's research. I suggest that if you use a new food that you run a search on the board to see if anyone has had a problem with it recently. I'm lucky that Max is happy with Wellness food, but I wouldn't have guessed that one of them has 13%. I don't like to give him fish anyway because of the mercury and the overfishing. Good luck!

And soon, you get excited and look forward to seeing low preshots -- and nothing will happen . . . dun dun dun! However, someday it will all come together. Oh, how I know how hard it is to test at +11, give a treat, and ignore that little face that says, "Where's the rest of my breffis, Mommie?"

Thanks Dale. So far so good for Tucker today. I will check all future food varieties, just to be safe. Who thunk it?
Thanks for the info.... with sooooo many varieties, it's hard to keep up. Especially when we want a variety for our aliens to eat!

Max seems to like the 80s. Maybe that's why he was so blah when he was surfing the 60s and 70s. As long as he doesn't start wearing leg warmers, headbands and sweatshirts that have the neck cut out of them so that they hang off of one shoulder . . .

He lay out on the concrete back patio today and watched Emma poo -- it was so hot I was letting her run around without a diaper. I turned around and I saw it, then saw Max, and Max looked at me like, "It weren't me! I use a litter box like civilized people!"

Marje, How is little Gracie Waycie? "Flat is where it's at" someone recently said.
