She's getting some bloody noses... usually just a little bloody mucus, but today she was rubbing at her nose and got blood all over it. I had to clean her up. Once again - thank got I don't get sick at the sight of blood.
She'll eat a little - especially with the cypro to enhance her appetite, but still not eating enough so I force fed this morning again. I just don't have enough hours in the day to keep trying to entice her to eat on her own.
She's also sneezing - which I think triggered the bloody nose. I'm going to ask when we go in for her appt on Tuesday, but I'm really too exhausted to get into anything sooner. I've completely been neglecting my own health and medical appointments lately - so I have to catch up.
I'm riled up about something that just happened at work... so, I'm just going to write a brief story today:
Kasha loves bread. At least she used to. Once I was sitting on the bed, eating a piece of bread and giving her little, cat-sized morsels of it (wonder how she became diabetic? It's a mystery...). At one point, I lifted my hand to pull a tiny piece off the slice of bread I was holding in my other hand... while both hands were occupied, she struck - and took a big bite right from the slice of bread I was holding. Apparently, the tiny morsels weren't enough for her...
We couldn't even keep bread out on the counters or table. We'd wake up in the morning and the bread would look fine. Then we'd notice that there were tiny holes in the plastic wrap from one end to the other, pretty evenly spaced. She'd sample the bread, from one end to the other. It was particularly funny with long bread - like a baguette...
I was upstairs in bed late one night and suddenly I heard a lot of noise. Sounded like Kasha was wrestling with a garbage bag. I turned on the lights and saw that she'd gotten a loaf of cinnamon raisin bread from the kitchen table... took it upstairs and was rolling around with it on the floor near the bed... And yes - she'd already sampled it.
