Yesterday's Barf-filled Condo

Yay! Welcome back, Mr. Greenie! How we've missed you! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: I probably should have tested him a hour ago, but I got caught up reading condos and before I knew it, it was +6! Well, now we get to see if he will surf like he was doing for me so nicely last week. C'mon, Cinco. Up on the board!

So, at the risk of bringing who knows what raining down on my head, I will say here that we are having a quiet day, no drama (anti-jinx, anti-jinx, anti-jinx!). Everyone had a good appy at breakfast and so far no one has thrown up! That, to me, is success. The arrival of Mr. Greenie is icing on the cake. Today is a homebound chore day - laundry is going, plants need to be watered and kitties' water dispenser cleaned. Tomorrow is an out and about day, so hopefully Cinco will get plenty of lagoon time today and be content to relax on shore tomorrow (pretty please?).

Sending healing vines to all in need, and hugs to all their beans. :YMHUG: Prayers continue for Amy's DF, Lyresa's DF, Elise's DM and Wendy's DM. Cheers to OTJ trialers, too! :-D

No rush Cinco, the lagoon is always ready and waiting. Time to hop on that surfboard now. :mrgreen: Paws crossed for continued quiet today.

Hey Cinco! What's the hurry? Dashing for the lagoon isn't good for you....you should take a leisurely stroll instead! I'm not going to make it today, but maybe tonight...You know I'm not going to give my mamabean any hints! ~ China

Hope the rest of it continues to be so nice and that Cinco hops up on his surfboard so you can get back to important things...like cleaning, laundry, litter boxes :lol:

Great that Sasha is feeling better too....no fun at all having the pukes!

That is quite the dive into the lagoon there, Cinco!! Wahooooo for a barf-free/good appy day, too (anti-jinx!!!!!)!!!

From Trix's condo yesterday...yep, you're probably right about my hands having the beginnings of arthritis. Being a beader, I don't like that thought, and will fight against it as much as possible! I do have self-induced arthritis in my thumbs from years of making glass beads (small scale glass blowing). The winter has been tough on my hands for as long as I can remember....they don't ache, but they do get a little stuff. The most annoying part is how I can't quite feel tiny stuff like thread and little beads, so I drop them. I don't run my hands under warm water because that actually makes it worse when they dry, but I do drink hot water all day, primarily so I can wrap my hands around the cup!

Iz hopin to get to the lagoon tonight, too...but mommabean would get mad if we went too far out....Iz hears there are green sharks if you go to far....maybe I will try to join you and China tonight....maybe some other kittehs can come, too and wez can have a pawty and not tell da beans! ~Skooter

So Cinco, I am not quite sure what you are trying to say.....you trying to say you know how to work da juice?

Slow down a bit buddy, we don't want ya becoming a basketball and bouncing!

Nicely done, Cinco! Here's to a puke-free evening! too. :-D Our fire season ends when the monsoons start in early July, so June is our worst month. Usually September is beautiful except this year with all of these hurricanes!

Gosh, we were popular today! :-D

Cinco let me coax him out of the deep end of the lagoon with little trouble. I guess I did too good of a job, since he ended up onshore with Rusty and China! Have no fear, Skooter, that doesn't mean he wouldn't be up for a pj party tonight! :roll: He just had a full body massage and brushing, and is stretched out in bliss on the sofa, awaiting his dinner, which will be soon.

All other furry inhabitants have been amazingly well behaved today, although I did discover a hairball in the living room, no doubt courtesy of the only long-hair in the bunch, Minka. It's been quite some time since she's coughed on up, so I guess she was due!

The Ziwipeak and Earthborn cans I ordered came today - gonna see if the kids like any of them. Tomorrow I'll be going into Sacramento, so I'm going to hit the place that supposedly carries Dave's and see if I can get a can or two of that to try. I know a lot of kitties eat the same thing every day and are perfectly happy with it, but mine seem to want variety. And of course, what the kitties want..... :roll:

Ella, I did get several chores checked off the list, but as usual, there are still plenty more left to do! I just don't know where the day goes!

So the Ziwipeak Lamb was a big hit with three out of four kitties. There's always one! :roll: Sasha was pretty much: "meh" on it. A little Forti Flora got her to eat about 1/3 of her serving. If she doesn't polish it off in the next hour, I guess I'll offer her something else. :YMSIGH:
