Yesterday at Tricia's House of Chaos

Once again, thank you to all who stopped by our yesterday's condo with vines and support.

Cinco gave me the green (or actually yellow :p) light to leave this morning, so I am currently under the dryer at the hair salon. This may be a bit disjointed as I'll have to stop at some point to let Kecia work on me!

Minka's appy was so-so this morning - she ate about half her breakfast before I left. I felt so guilty leaving her when I should have stayed to keep offering food. I debated on everyone's meds - give 2 hrs early or 3+ hours late? I ended up giving Minka and Cinco theirs early (easiest to pill and first to get theirs last night) and Harvey and Sasha will get theirs when I get home. Didn't have time for Minka's fluids. I'll probably give 50 when I get home and 100 late tonight. Hopefully all this will work out okay. I did leave lc in Otto for Cinco, so he should be good. Sasha's appy was also so-so. More guilt.

Dryer just stopped. BBL.

Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans, especially Marilyn & Polly, Deborah & Shasta, Carla & her civvie Baby, Wendy & civvie Theo, and Marje & Gracie. :bighug: Prayers continue for Amy's DF, Lyresa's DF and DH, Marje's DM, Chris' DM, Molly's DM, and Elise's DM.
 
Nice of Cinco to give you good numbers to go out on. I hope Minka and Sasha's appys pick up. Don't feel guilty for taking some time for yourself. You need to recharge so you can be there for the kitties. Sending prayers. :bighug::bighug:
 
I totally agree with Carla...how long has it been since you've really taken a day for yourself?? I'm betting it's been awhile, so don't you feel a bit guilty!!

Sasha and Minka will live....and maybe they'll be a little hungrier tonight when it's time for their next feeding

One day isn't going to make or break them....but YOU need it! You've got a lot to deal with over the next month or 3 so take this day and enjoy!!
 
Sorry I missed your news yesterday, sending vines for both Cinco and Sasha's upcoming procedures. Glad to hear Dr Nelson is a fan of yours - a well deserved accolade, you do an amazing job with your crew in difficult circumstances. Enjoy your day off and have fun! :bighug:
 
I'd say the mamabean day was more than deserved. I hope you could make yourself relax! Now, how about an adult beverage and putting your feet up?
 
Way to multitask at the the hairdressers! I hope you're not spoiling your day off (thank you Cinco) with guilt. Without the extra deliveries the kitties should be nice and hungry when you get home :)

Thanks for visiting us, Carla, Chris, Suki, Rhiannon, Ann, Serryn and Ella.

It was lovely getting my hair done, and meeting up with Josie was the icing on the cake. Got some errands done, too.

Looks like Cinco was fairly flat yellow today. Tonight he jumped into the lagoon with both feet. He'd better stop right where he is. Food cutoff is supposed to be midnight.

So some of you were partly correct - Minka was hungry tonight. She ate all her dinner, albeit in three sessions. She's had one refill so far. Sasha not so much. Of course, it was pretty warm today.

So now I need to get Minka's fluids warming. All meds have been administered. @Ann & Tess, I'm on my second glass of wine. ;)

The bad news is I have to get up at 0-dark-thirty to take Cinco to UCD for a 7:30 am drop off. :eek: Tried to talk DH into doing it, but he has too much work to do. :rolleyes::( So I'll be off to bed as soon as Minka's fluids are done. Sorry I haven't visited much today. I'll get caught up on everyone tomorrow.
