WCR: Buzz is a happy girl today. Yesterday I had the upstairs carpets cleaned and she wasn't happy about that (she was shut in the bedroom) but she seems to have recovered today. Someone threw up this morning on my brand new area rug in the living room, and they even had to do it on the lightest part of the pattern, not on the nice dark brown background where it would be less obvious. :YMSIGH:

It's a beautiful day here in STL, sunny, breezy, and a high of 81. The humidity seems to have (finally) taken a hike. I'm going to hit up a park with some friends later on and have a dinner picnic outside. I've got to run some errands now but I'll be back later to check on condos. Have a great Friday, everyone!

Hi Sarah and Buzz!
I am sorry to be laughing at the puke on the AREA rug...my two will RUN from the entire tiled area over to the ONE area that has a rug....then they do their upchuck routine! It NEVER fails!!! They will go the entire distance down the hall to find the little area rug that is way at the en and that is where they choose to be sick....why do they DO that???
Good luck today...see you later!

Judy posted this on Health, and she's an old friend from my PZI days. I wanted to see if I could get any extra eyes, specifically anyone who may have had experience with feline seizures and/or possible jaw problems (rendering Squamee unable to eat much). The link is here: viewtopic.php?f=28&t=25231

Thanks in advance for any help or advice you may be able to give her!

Hi Sarah & Buzz, Sorry I can't be of any help to your friend Judy, but I'm sure that she'll get good advice. It really is amazing that our kitties prefer barfing on the rugs. Stu will be on the bare floor and move immediately to the rug to hack up a hairball--every time. If I'm right there and try to move him back to the floor, he digs in and won't budge!!

That Kong bird toy is something else!! My mamabean is holding back the hedgehog until, as she says, the novelty of the bird wears off. I may never get to play with hedgehog at this rate!! I'll have to fake it. Thanks again, Buzz!! I guess we both insisted on the bananas and I think my mamabean is going to get them for me, too.
See you soon,

Stu
