Yellow yesterday

Zener had a nice slide last night after an all yellow yesterday. Nicely done, big boy! Appy wasn't so great this morning, lots of fortiflora and a little tummy massage, which seemed to help. Yard patrol was completed and he and Tillie are both napping on the bed with Annebean.

OT: Our monsoons may finally be over. This is the latest in the summer that we've gotten so much rain in 17 years in Flagstaff. Everything is growing so well, including the mosquitoes. :-x I won't mind that first frost one bit.

Thinking of ailing kitties and beans, Jamie and Jupiter, Angela's civie Shadow. Pixie's OTJ trial is going well. Happy Monday, LL!

Re: 9/16 Zener AMPS 145

Hi Liz. Zener is doing so well, what a nice AMPS.

I thought we were the only ones with a mosquito infestation. Had to put a fan at the front door to keep them away.

Have a great day Liz.

Hi Liz! Glad your monsoons are ending! Yikes! What is a monsoon anyway? I know it's some sort of storm....should have paid more attention in school! You are not alone with the mosquitos - did you hear about the giant ones? I'm not sure where they are coming from, but they are HUGE and they suck blood just like the little ones - heard about it on the news - may have to google it! I just gave myself the heebie jeebies talking about it...

Glad to hear about Zener's nice slide to lower numbers! I hope he keeps it up and I hope you have a good day!

Nice blue surf for Zener today. I hope his tummy feels better and his appy picks up.

Re: 9/16 Zener AMPS 145;+3 143;+5.5 154

Nice day for Zener. Wish the appy was a little better. Glad your monsoons are over. So I guess this is the end of the garden season for you?

Have a great day!

Hi Liz, I remember the monsoons when we lived in New Mexico :o
We have also had an extra amount of rain this year with all the mosquito's too. But we rarely get that first frost
Zener is looking very good on his surf board today. Just like a pro ;-)
Have a nice night

Re: 9/16 Zener PMPS 322

Well BLECH on this PMPS. ohmygod_smile Could still be bouncing from the green or Mr Liver is all worked up by a blue cycle. Who knows, and who knows why we keep trying to sort it out. Poor beans.

@Angela & Blackie & others - he had a lovely AMPS after his all night slide. We're not as happy with the PMPS.

@John - Zener is a big fan of all our rain because there are so many weeds growing in the yard to hide in. We don't typically have mosquitoes and can leave our back door open, no screen door, just open. This is the first year we've lived here, in 17 years, that we've had these critters. I'd forgotten how miserable mosquito bites can be.

@Dara - all good slides come to an end. This pattern in the southwest is known as the North American monsoons. Weather patterns shift in early July bringing in moisture, so as the day heats up, thunderstorms develop. It usually ends around Labor Day. It's been exceptional this year because of active tropical patterns coming up from Mexico. It's typically too dry here to sustain many mosquitoes, and we are not sad about that! The best part is - no fleas! Zener is happy about that!

@carla - thanks for the tummy and appy wishes. He seems a little better this evening, of course, a nice healthy poo always makes one feel better!

@Doreen - his appy picked up mid-cycle and he is doing okay at PMPS. Yes, our garden season is on the way out. We live at 7000 feet in a dry arid climate so gardening is quite the challenge. Our growing season is around 80 days.

@Pam & Hoot - Zener staying on the blue surf as long as he could. Then, Mr Liver gets all aquiver. New Mexico and Colorado are getting hammered now, it's gradually slipping further east and we are just about done in our part of Arizona. Our 3rd wettest monsoon season since weather records have been kept.

Yard patrol completed, a happy crap sashay observed and planning for the best spot to watch rodent TV in progress. Zener's tummy seems a bit better this evening. Hope everyone has a calm and drama free Monday evening. :YMHUG:

Re: 9/16 Zener PMPS 322

OOOH, Rodent TV!!! What channel is that on?

~ Rusty

Hi guys, bummer on the PMPS. FD strikes again: the no. 1 condition for unpredictability.

Have a great evening,

Ella & Rusty

Yuck on that PMPS, but hooray that Zener's tummy and appy are better this evening. LOL on the Happy Crap Sashay!!

Have a great, drama-free evening, too!!!

Re: 9/16 Zener PMPS 322

Poor us beans indeed.

Hi Liz and Anne,
I'm glad Zener's appy and tummy are better this evening.
Sending feel even better vines to him.
I hope he'll slide down soon!

Looks like we traded cycles today. Sorry about that pink. Neko wants to know what channel in Canada is showing Rodent TV.
