Good Sunday Morning, Everyone,

After that great green day yesterday, Rusty has bounced, big time! Food may have in part influenced his AMPS, since I heard him eating from his nighttime food bowl shortly before we got up, but a bounce is still a bounce. Oh for the "good old days" when Rusty hardly ever bounced! But, as we know, it is not possible to "compare" then and now. Things change.

It was pretty cold last night, but didn't quite get down to freezing. Rusty snuggled with his beans. This morning we had a good test (with the exception of the number!), good breakfast of Wellness Turkey and Wellness Chicken, good shot with the TT, and The Laird, having lost his way to the Lagoon, is napping peacefully in his little bed by the radiator (which still is not on--it's too early in the season to put on the heat).

Edward and I had a lovely walk through the woods yesterday afternoon (pics in yesterday's condo). This morning he is baking bread. We'll go for a walk later, and this evening is the mountain club's first potluck of the season. I have to bring a dessert (but, ashamed to say, I bought it in the supermarket). Tomorrow we're going to paddle to one of our favorite spots.

Wishing all a good day. Sending many, many good thoughts to Roni and Moonie for their conference with the vet today. Sending strength and healing vines to CD. Sending healing vines to all kitties and beans not feeling well.

What a wonderful day you have planned! And I love the sound of those cooler temperatures. I wish it would trickle down here.

Simon is also bouncing from some low numbers last night. Yes, I also remember the good old days when there was little bouncing after the low numbers. Oh well, we love our babies, anyway!

Have a fantastic day and have fun eating that yummy homemade bread!

Morning Ella and Rusty, sorry about the bounce. Rusty can join Maggie and Mannie today on the yellow floor! It does sound like a wonderful Fall day full of fun activities. Have a great time today. How is the new car?

Thanks for your visit to Rosy's condo! The silly girl got so ashamed after she heard Rusty did great yesterday that she decided to take a steep dive into the green to show off! She is munching on chicken while sitting on the green pasture atm.
Enjoy a beautiful Sunday!

Hope Rusty slides back down soon.
I love our cooler temperatures. Makes it much more desireable to get out of the house.

Your store bought dessert made me laugh. I know someone who does that but says " you have to put it in your own dish and get rid
of the commercial packaging" so no one can tell for sure if you baked it.

Hope you have a great time at the potluck!

Hi Ella,

Hoping Rusty clears this bounce soon. I had to pop in to say that I LOVED the pictures you posted yesterday. Rusty's colouring is so beautiful and the way he was posing sure did remind me of an owl. He's such a handsome fellow :-D

I hope you had a relaxing walk and yummy potluck with friends.

Rusty, what are you doing way up there with Tess. You know you belong in the green lagoon.
Hope he comes down soon.

Hi again,
Back from the potluck and Rusty is coming down nice and gradually.

I had to laugh about my store-bought dessert: chruscick (sp?), which I happened to find in the supermarket up here, from the White Eagle Bakery (Polish bakery) in NJ . 4 or 5 people asked me for the recipe!!! They reminded them of their mothers' or grandmothers' chruscick. All were thrilled to find that they could buy them in the Price Chopper!!

We are so happy for Roni that Moonie was diagnosed with Hyper-T very early on and will be OK.

Everyone have a good evening,

Ella & Rusty

Hi Ella - Somehow I missed you pics yesterday ... Very nice! Woods hikes can be great. The one I did today had a large section that was woods - very peaceful, nice, and with the filtered sunlight: pretty!

I am glad that Rusty is coming down for you. Mannie isn't - right back up to the pinks.... bummer!

Potluck sounds good! LOL on the recipe. Too fun!
