Rusty had a good day: he ate all his fuds and his breathing sounds pretty good. He and his papabean had the day together because I was out on a hike to a fabulous grove of ancient White Pines (400 years old). Some had fallen or were dead, but there were many that were thriving. We had to bushwhack to find the grove. All of the trees had numbered tags. One sported an ancient lightening strike. There must have been about 35 trees, maybe more. I'll post pics tomorrow.
