Hi Julie,
Michael is o.k. Michael has a little bald spot by his ear. Where he has been scratching. Do you know if there is anything I put on it to stop the itching? The vet said there is but it has steroids, and you can't give steroids to a "D" cat.
Something that will stop the itching and won't be bad for him.?
Michael likes that stinky pink again!

i *think* benadryl is safe for cats, and it is available in a topical cream. BUT, I would call the vet and ask if it's safe to put that on his skin before i used it. I'm not positive about it, so definitely check with the vet if it is something you want to try.

i wonder if a cool damp washcloth would be soothing to it?

Hoping Michael is feeling better and that the vet said the Benadryl would be ok for him.....

Michael...come on down and join the sunshine on the yellow floor!!

I will ask the vet at my appt. next week. Meantime I will do the wash cloth.
Michael decided to like the sunshine on the yellow floor. Hope he doesn't go back to that stinky pink :!:

if there is any way you can get a +2 tonight, paula, i sure would. His pmps is lower than the +5 today, so he may be going lower this evening.
