Yesterday was..... YELLOW DAY in MannieLand, yet again. And Pink day, yet again... :? :roll: :shock: :? :? Somebody is looking for a dosecrease if this doesn't improve soon.... I opened a new pen on the PM cycle on 9/14. We will operate under the assumption that the prior pen was loosing its guts and glory as it was on day 37, and that Mannie's shed may need refilling due to said pen, and wait for any NDW, which he does do, to clear, before putting in any increase. I'm not too sure that this just isn't Mannie being Mannie, but we will still wait to make sure. SO Mannie.... we really could use some blues and greens, 'K? You on board? YES? That's my boy! Lubs ya big guy. cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D We had yet again a sunny warm cloudless blue sky with temp in the 65/70's on Caturday. Beautiful day yesterday in the PNW. Mornings are cool and crisp - I so love the beginnings of Fall. Mannie does too! Well, sort of... He made his rounds outside, secured the perimeter, checked out his fav sitting spots and then came right back in for some sun beam napping.... Napping in the sun on the nanners ruled the roost yesterday. :lol: :lol: They do get mighty toasty in the sun, he seems to like that. Silly boy!Family was by last night for dinner, DGS included. An extra day for us and for Mannie, with Nicholas. It's fun for his mom and dad to see how well they interact. I was hoping Nicholas would show his skill at getting into Mannie's hidey spot, but he didn't. :lol: :lol: This morning we had a great test, feed (YES!!!!!), shoot and clean plate club , AND the auto feeder was ignored by Mannie, (again!) :shock: Elsa too (again)... what else is new there: not much!.... Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone. I'm not too sure yet what will be here today. I may go hiking is Mannie gives me a permission slip. Then again those chores still wait.... hmmm - which one to choose?

Hey everybody ! it's me, Mannie.... :-D I so lubbed the skydiving yesterday. WOO HOO!!! I still wanna go river rafting..... I dunno..... I kinda wonder about those big waves that come crashing all over the boat. :shock: :shock: Maybe not, huh.... Maybe we should just stick to paddling. or sailing. or riding the ferries. HEY - We gots lots of ferries here - you guys wanna take a ferry ride? We could go across the sound and camp out and have picnic and stuff. Cool? We could make a crab and clam bake again. What'd'ya think? You guys in? Let me know, I am ready for anything! ~ ~Mannie

I'm curious, does DGS pay Elsa any attention too or is he strictly a Mannie man?

I dunno about gettin my paws wet :? but maybe Maggie will get a bit scared if we go rafting and I'll get to snuggle with her. That will make it worthwhile :-D ;-) :-D Ize on my way, up for whateva is decided, especially the picnic :smile: I'll bring some special Australian delicacies - Vyktor

Hope you see some better numbers for Mannie today. I know how frustrating it can be when you can't figure out why the numbers are so high.

Hi Ella - Could be on the excitement of the sky-diving! Those kitties! Here's hoping our boys come down today. And I think you are right - our weather is too good not to go. This is the PNW after all, and once those rains show up they are here for a spell. One cannot ignore these sunny days with chores!!

Hi Serryn - on the Elsa thing. Nicholas loves her too, but she is a scardycat and doesn't stick around much when he is here. She'll check him out, but the minute he tries to approach or pet, off she goes! so so Elsa....

VYKTOR!!! ok it's been decided.... ferry boats! Mags will like that. And if she likes that you will get to snuggle. :-D WE will picnic for sure, we gots lots of cool beaches and stuff. And YUMMMMMMM on the Australian delicacies - WOO HOO! See you soon! ~~ Mannie

I vote for hiking...who cares about the chores! I used to clean every weekend but decided that life is too short...what is a little cat hair on everything anyhow, right?!!

Morning Michelle and thanks on the WPM ~O) ~O) Oh I love the sweet pics of DGS and Mannie paw shaking, so sweet! Maggie is still on the yellow floor, came down just a little though. Yes, I agree with Ella and the chores, take the hike as the chores will always be there, but a day without a nice hike one can never get back! How's that for logic? :-D Have a wonderful time whatever you decide.

Hi Georgia - THX on the pics - it was nice to be able to post something that kind f shows the best buddy thing. It amazes me that Mannie let him shake his paw. And I am with you - the shores will be her tomorrow, the sun is here today and Mannie has, for sure, given me that permission slip. Can it be the weather? Causing a higher bg? Weather change is stressful to the kitties because they are very sensitive & they hate changes. That's my excuse for Rosy's wonky numbers. They will come down when the weather settles. Dont worry Michelle.

Tess and Mannie must have planned this. She is in yellow and pink also. I vote for the hike. Chores can wait for a rainy day. :lol:

289 @ PMPS. YAY!! At least we are no longer pink. and I hope hope hope hope that he doesn't spike back into the pink zone like he did last night. Paws crossed. :-D

I did go hike today, to a place called Beckler Peak, which is a couple miles further from the place that DGS and I went last TH. It was a nice hike: woods and forest for alot of it (but good ones), until one reached the 3.5 mile mark where everything just opened up. Mountain views, vistas, wonderful craggy terrain. I loved it! It was kinda cool to reach topside and realize that you were actually standing on top of the peak. WOO HOO! I will post some photos in Mannie's condo tomorrow.

Hi Helen - well, maybe on the weather, but it really hasn't changed all that much here. I just think it's Mannie being Mannie, and the influence of the new moon. It's happened a few times before. so maybe? Who knows.... I just hope he comes down. :-D

Hi John - I think so - those two! Well at least he's back to the yellows, maybe he's broken this pink run.... And YUPP! hike I did, far too nice out not too, and YUPP: the chores will be there tomorrow... :lol: :lol: LOL on liking to see the pictures. FB is up now, a couple of albums and the vids.

Hi Ann - I know, there are alot of them. I have opted to blame the New Moon. Now whether that holds water I dunno... but it is as good an excuse as any other. I hope his pmps is a sign that he has broken this mess and will be getting back to the blues.

Z! Me too on the stinky numbers.... I don't like them but they keep showing up.... I think my bean says I gots a day to get it together. HUH? Love the pictures!!!!! SO ADORABLE!!!!! Ok Mannie, this evenings numbers are only slightly better than this mornings, so we would appreciate you coming down to the land-o-blues! Shasta says she misses hanging out with you!!!!

Michelle, thank you for the FF Florentine suggestions. I opened a can of Turkey tonight and gave her .40 oz and she licked the bowl clean, so I gave her .55oz more and she licked the bowl clean!!!! Keeping my fingers crossed that it lasts!!!!!

Hi Deborah - THx on the pics. Oh boy on the numbers. I had such hopes with that +2. oh well, he'll be back down soon. YAY!! on the Elegant Medleys - WOO HOO and I am so glad that is working. Mannie just loves them. When all else fails I now those will get eaten. I hope Shasta continues to like them too.
