Need lots of
straight Espresso today! Maggie seems to be somewhat okay this morning except just a short while ago, she peed on the carpet area right next to the LL, and she has never done that before! I notice she's been drinking more water, but I thought it was because of the Lactulose. I'm wondering if this is a sign of a UTI! The last UTI I remember her numbers were high and more water intake. She has a senior exam coming up but not until October 22, which I could bump up. This may explain the higher numbers. I increased by a drop. You would think on the third day of a new vial her numbers would either remain the same or improve, unless by coincidence she would have gone high anyway. I really don't think this is the shed still refilling and the other vial lost that much potency. If you look just a few lines above all the yellow rows starting 9/13 and up, you can see on the old vial, Maggie had some nice drops into blue! Once I started the new vial, more yellow! So something is amiss with Missy Maggie.

Sorry I missed some of you last night after I logged off:
Amy, I know our girls seem to be in sync a lot. We're still fighting the New Vial Wonkiness. You've created a new lingo term, was it you?
Anne & Zener, thanks on the cute pic, love it! Maggie likes following Zener around, even if it is the yellow floor. Yes, so far Mags is doing an every other day poo vs. the every five before we knew it was Megacolon.
Deborah & Shasta, thanks for stopping by and wishing us well. Mags's numbers start out nice and then slide back up.
Dale, usually Lactulose does not have such an effect on her bg's. I have a post from JoJo explaining it. It says in part :the "sugar" in lactulose does not enter the cat's blood stream changing BG." There's more if you're interested. t does cause Maggie to drink more water, which is good,
So funny with Emma and the prezzie. I'll pm you on lunch/coffee. I'll be up by Scripps tomorrow, but it will be around 7 am, very early.
Thanks Marje, I hope the drop will push her down to blue and thanks on the prezzie. I'm beginning to think she may have a UTI with lately so much driinking and peeing.
