Morning! Maggie had a really nice day yesterday. She kept begging for food this morning and ate so fast that she upchucked some of it! Her AMPS is usually a little on the high side, as Maggie free feeds and even though I get up early enough for the two hour withhold, I have no idea when she's eaten the overnight fuds. I have an early 7:30 am medical appt. and need to leave here by 6:30 am, so I did a BCS or not quite three drops, as I have errands afterwards and will be gone a few hours. It's either a bcs or high carb it! I'm kitty sitting my neighbor's kitty after she had an Ambien fall, but thank goodness no broken bones, but some nasty meaty bone scrapes on her arm and two bumps on the head. She stayed overnight with her daughter. This is the moody kitty that can give whacks to the human for no apparent reason! She's a beautiful Russian Blue, anyone know if they have tempers! Happy TGIF everyone.

What a nice day Maggie had yesterday. Maggie sure must like her morning fuds! Good luck at the doctor's appointment and you are such a wonderful neighbor, taking care of such a temperamental cat while your neighbor recovers.

Ouch on the ambien fall! I'm going to stick to benedryl :lol: :lol: :lol: I bet I'd make the news if I took that stuff.

I'd have done a BCS dose also.

Hope you escape the kitty smackdown today.

Hi Karrie, thanks on the BCS. I thought it would be better than HC'ing, as she spikes so easily. Yikes, I know on the Ambien! I thought they took that one off the market. Benadryl is a much better choice. Sorry to hear you have been sick and hope you're starting to feel better. The colds/bronchitis viruses we get these days take forever to heal. I've already had my flu shot and whooping cough shot, too!

Good morning! Hope Maggie comes down for you today, even though the AMPS isn't too bad. Good idea on the BCS rather than HC. I know HC really affects Miss Maggie.

You are a great neighbor. Tempermental cats are not easy to deal with. I have one of my own - Turnup. :lol: Hope your neighbor heals fast. I have never taken Ambien, but I have also never had any problems sleeping other than not enough. :lol:

Hi Georgia, yes, Maggie likes a big breffifs, mostly as in three mini breffifs. The kitty (Kitsi is her name) only likes a few people, me being okay as I feed and pet her. If she's not in the mood for petting is when she takes a swipe at me with her paw, nails not trimmed. :lol:

Hi Melissa, thanks and even with the overnight fuds, you're right, not a bad AMPS. this is the yearly mammogram, and since I get up so early, I took their first appt. So much better with traffic and parking at this hour.

The BCS shot didn't seem to hurt Maggie at all! Maybe dose reduction coming soon! :smile:

Not a bad day at all considering her BCS!!! Think positive....no fur shot!!!

I actually made some headway with my neighbor's cat with the "cattitude" - Kitsi let me brush her, and I heard some very quiet purring, and no swiping me with the paw today. I think she's a little lonely missing her Bean.
