of course he bounced -- or the depot ran out early -- pretty typical for him

we're both tired, have been off schedule, more running around than usual, and missed some of our usual activities, plus additional effort to be upbeat for family -- plus DH had multiple computer problems, put him in a "mood"; he now has both of my backup computers, can't figure out how to do what he wants to do with either of them, and isn't happy with what Dangerous Dan (local computer wizard) did to his while it was in for repair/checkup

Catcat snoozing, fat and happy, well, mostly, he isn't happy that he can't eat as much as he wants -- but looks like he's starting to accumulate padding over his ribs ... nope, cat, we can't have that ...

it's such a pretty world today
look at the sunshine
And every day's the same since I met you

It's such a pretty world today
knowing that you're mine
And happiness is being close to you

And though the rain may fall
my skies will all be blue
If I look close enough
the sun will come shining through

It's such a pretty world today
look at the sunshine
Today and every day since I met you

your guess is as good as mine, whether he went lower this afternoon -- or whether he might dip (again?) before PMPS

oh, and don't play "Who let the dogs out"
Wild as a Wildcat is OK

tired from looking all afternoon for something that has yet to be found ...

That was great Candy! Love your stories about Catcat and your DH! Maybe Catcat could be the DJ at the Tiki hut! That should get them all on the beach and with the lagoon so close...who knows! :joyful:

"Pretty World" is actually one of the singing calls I do at square dances -- love the melody and the choreography works well
of course I don't have the voice that the original singers had, when they recorded this

not up to date on the songs that I know -- I lost track somewhere in the middle 80s I think -- of course as I tell the grandkids, "Everything Old is New Again"

or channel Karen Carpenter and say "It's Yesterday Once More" .. shu be doo lang lang ...

Love KC, she went away way too soon.

Technologically held hostage by your husband, huh? Hopefully he figures everything out soon!!

Pretty good slide for Catcat today! Maybe he does have some tricks up he is sleeve for you!

and then of course he's lower yet at PMPS = 142 .. what a cat, never know what he's going to throw my way

clouds cleared late this afternoon, maybe he wants to go for a moonlight swim -- told him not to do it in the power canal off our north property line, current is too fast for cats -- Juniper went swimming one time, took her ten days to make it back --- I think she was smart enough to get out of the water before the power plant turbines -- that's something like 6 or 7 miles downstream

I actually sing in a similar range to Karen Carpenter, can sing most of what she did without squeaking or having to drop an octave, as is the case with many that I'd love to emulate -- most of them are wrong tempo for square dancing though

funny story, I was in chorus in high school with Lynn Anderson ("Rose Garden") but the director made us both lip-synch -- my voice was changing (soprano to ?? tenor), and she said Lynn's voice "didn't blend" -- we kept in touch now and then

from what I understand, Dangerous Dan removed all DH's access to Firefox -- which is what he prefers to use -- left part of Chrome behind (which DH doesn't like) but updated IE, of all things .. not sure if Avast antivirus is still in there, wizard prefers Microsoft's firewall and access program; he may have left Malwarebytes in, but got rid of the Iobit programs which I like to use, they're more user friendly than Microsoft's accessories

I installed Firefox on both of the backup computers I loaned him (one Win 7 which I prefer, one Win 10 which I don't) -- Dangerous Dan is trying to talk DH into upgrading to Win 10 on his own computer -- have heard many horror stories about trying to go from 7 to 10 --- DS says Win 10 is hard to handle if you don't have a touchscreen

near bedtime, have done the test feed shoot for Catcat, now time to move storage boxes around so we can get into bed

found a flavor of Friskies pate I didn't have, will see how that goes overnight

It takes a little getting used to - but I've made the leap on 3 computers and I love it! No touchscreens in our compliment of computers...

It's more stable - I think - than Win7 ever was. I do like Chrome as well - had to get used to that. FF used to crash on me constantly - I'm one of those people who has 20 windows open at the same time though...maybe it was too stressful for FF? I finally just quit using it altogether.
