A little higher start than usual this morning, but Ms P stepped in and said "No worries, I got it all under control!" as they headed off to the lagoon.
When I first got up this morning, Trix was waiting outside the bedroom door, semi-Mannie-fuds-dancing and asking "Where's my breffis, Mama?" You see, I accidentally hit the snooze bar one too many times, and apparently Trix noticed!! I honestly think the last time she was waiting for me outside the bedroom door like that was before the pancreatitis in April; if she has done it since then, it was just once or twice. So, the other night she was waiting outside the mudroom door when I got home from work (dinner time), and this morning she was waiting outside the bedroom door. I like this trend!
She also has her "lumberjack-ette" appy on, too....my little glutton. And, she's still in snugglebug extraordinaire mode...so very sweet - and nice and warm, too!
It has turned cooler here....I had to break out my non-summer jammies, and the kitties are ALL being little gluttons. Maybe that's why Trix is packing it away, but whatever the reason is, it's fine by me! (Well, except for the "being cold" part  .)
I'm sorry I totally missed condos yesterday...it was a long day of teaching, followed by fuds shopping, followed by dinner and kitty detail and crashing. I'm off today, but since I wasn't home for either day off, it's time to catch up around the house, and I need to make a dent in my Dad's birthday gift - I'm making him an iPad case out of duct tape with the Notre Dame logo on it. I found a very rudimentary iPad case pattern online and am elaborating on it so that it is something that is genuinely and securely usable with his beloved iPad. I started it the other day...it is a fun project. I love figuring out the logistics of things like this.
He was feeling pretty crappy yesterday, which is about par for the course considering the pattern he followed after Round 1. Hopefully he'll start feeling better today. Thank you, everyone, for all the well-wishes and prayers...they mean the world to me.
Have a great day, LL!
