Good Morning, Everyone,

Cold and rainy today, frost expected tonight. Autumn is here!!
Rusty had a good night. This morning I think his shot got in and I hope he'll be coming back down to good, Rusty numbers soon. He certainly feels better since his dental.

We're having lunch in the village today with some "seasonal" friends who are leaving for a trip out west to visit parents. They'll be back in late October and off and on during the winter. Other than that, only a visit to Edward's chiropractor is planned. If we see sunshine this afternoon, Rusty will enjoy going outside. Tomorrow, mid morning, we leave for Camp for a few days.

p.s. to Jill: Sorry about the misattribution with regard to the hairball gel! Looking back over old posts I see that several people recommended NaturVet, but you were not one of them!

Much better start for Rusty! Hope the shot got in and he surfs the blues and greens for you today.

I love fall and really miss it here. It is either 100 degrees (Tuesday of this week) or 60 degrees (today). No in betweens. I miss seeing the leaves change colors and not just dry up, shrivel and fall off. :lol:

yes its cool and rainy here in Ky today too big drop from yesterdays high of upper 80's to 50s this morning brrrrr it was cold taking my little Lily (chia) for her potty this morning she takes 4 ever to poo and I was really getting chilly hope Rusty has a good day and gives you green later have a good lunch with your friends :razz:

Nice AMPS for Rusty and so glad he's feeling good after the dental. It's only 63 degrees here today but will warm up later. Have a nice day and enjoy the Fall weather.

FWIW, Donny's numbers didn't settle into consistent low blues/high greens until about 2 weeks post dental surgery. He was low yellows/high blues before the procedure.

Hi Ella and Edward ....and Rusty!! It's good to know what MJ said. I'm just so glad the procedure went so well on Monday and you have it behind you.

How great you get to see your friends before they are off. I can't believe it's already autumn there....seems like your summer was cool...like our winter :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Wow - we were 90 today....I have to tell you how jealous I am. We had a sneak peak of fall last week, but it's long since gone.

I"m glad Rusty is feeling good after the dental - tell him I hate the dentist too and know exactly how he feels!

Thanks, MJ, for your input on dentals. Rusty only had a cleaning (none of his 6 remaining teeth needed to be extracted!). His gums, however, had bad gingivitis. We are looking forward to getting back to low blues and high greens (if only I can avoid giving fur shots)!

Tonight was, I fear, a partial fur shot. Rusty pulled back, and even though I held the needle in, some leaked out and there was still a drop in the syringe (which I expelled before I realized that I could have gone back and shot it). I don't know why shots for Rusty are so difficult for me, even when I find good skin amidst all the hair!

Our internet was out for most of the afternoon. A phone repairman showed up just as we were about to go to lunch with our friends, so we left him working on the outside box. He fixed the dialtone, but in the process the internet got knocked out. So he came back right away and found the problem (an ancient phone jack that was apparently still serving as the main jack for the house). So now we are back in business!

The temperature this evening is already down to 44 degrees (at 8 P.M.). We are going to have a frost tonight. I hope it warms up a bit for the weekend. We are not acclimated to cold weather, since the summer was unusually warm.

Everyone have a good evening. We go to Camp tomorrow and all kitties are welcome to come and hang out.
