Good evening L & LL,

Rusty had better breathing this morning, so we decided to wait a few days and see if he continues to do better. His appetite, however, is not great. But he eats if the bowl is held. This morning he got too much insulin. This evening I think he got basically no insulin. The Monojects are driving me crazy! It's a tradeoff because they have excellent lines and no bubbles. If Rusty's dose were larger there would be no problem.

Another beautiful day today. Rusty had some outdoor time. We had 4 adolescent bucks in our yard today. They hang out together. I hope they stay around after hunting season starts. It's safe in the village!

Wishing all a good evening and sending vines to all in need. Thanks to everyone for your concern for Rusty.

Yo. I spent some time checking out the shark nets today. The lagoon is safe for surfing.

Hoping Rusty is a big boy and eats for you. It is always so upsetting when they don't want to eat.

I just realized what a small dose that Rusty is on! Wow! Okay Rusty, let's get done with this juice for crying out loud!

Ella, it must be frustrating for sure. I know how frustrated I am with Bubba on his 4th rodeo with insulin and trying to get him to stay in all green numbers. What's a mother to do???

He is looking so good!

Nice SS Rusty! When Fritz had pneumonia I had him on liquid Orbax, I love that AB once a day he liked it so much he licked it off the plate wanting more.
Would love to see photos of the bucks:)
Hope his appy picks up:cat:

Rusty had Orbax last year for something (can't remember what). He wouldn't take it. Maybe he would take it by himself (i.e., not by me trying to pry his mouth open). I'll ask the vet next week.

The bucks usually show up right around when I'm making dinner. I'll try to get a picture if I spot them.

Wow, Rusty, you are taking your job a little too seriously! You can inspect the shark nets just as well with binoculars from the shallows. Try that next time, okay? Meanwhile, eat your fuds so you stay nice and strong.

Sending lots of breathing and appy vines.
