All P's except he still doesn`t feel well. Drinking maybe a little too much, just sitting (sometimes visibly suffering, sometimes not) not socializing -- but today seems to be in a little less discomfort that yesterday so far. He has taken up residence on top of a bureau, although last night he sat on top of the piano for a while. If I pick him up he pushes his way out of my arms instantly and returns to the bureau. His normal behavior is to be be stuck to me like glue.

Marge - Thanks for the assurance that I`m doing okay with the bg's!
Sienne - His weight is fine, and I am on the lookout for tapeworm symptoms. So far I don`t see any.
Jane - Thanks for the encouragement and vines - I told him you stopped by to cheer him up and he purred

Amy, Deborah, Rhiannon & Lisa - You are so sweet to stop by and encourage us - Thaaaaank Youuuu! :YMHUG:

Meds

Potencil 50mg bid
pepcid 2.5mgbid
bupe .05ml every 4-6 hours
miralax - a few granules yesterday and today - he is leaving small prezzies. I want a BIG prezzie!!

Re: 9/15 Reuben AMPS 211 +1/162 +2/110

Hi Alexa,
I hope Reuben gets to feeling better soon.
Given that 50% drop at +2, this could be an interesting cycle.

Re: 9/15 Reuben AMPS 211 +1/162 +2/110 +3/84

Hi Carl -

Yeah, I think he might have peaked already at +3.5ish in the 70's, like he did yesterday. I don`t think I understand what is going to cause him to go lower, are we filling shed right now? Must do more research!!

Thanks so much for all your excellent flea information and advice the other day! No Capstar in Mexico (that *I* could find) and the Adams order could be weeks to get here, so I'm in the process of moving us into our unfinished re-model project - and am going to hire professionals to come in and fumigate the house and garden. This is critial for Rueben's health.

Hope all is well on Hunting Island today

Things are awesome on Hunting Island today! Low 80s, bright sunshine and low tide in an hour. Perfect day for beach combing, and best of all, I'm off work all weekend!

Whoa, sounds like things are absolutely purrrrrfect today on HI. Hope you and Bob have a great time beachcombing! So maybe all that time Reuben was saying 'HI' to me, he meant 'get me out of here, I wanna go beachcombing on Hunting Island'! Hahahaaa! (uh oh, if Marge catches us chit chatting we're gonna be in big trouble! )

Hey,
Have you just looked at your spreadsheet lately as a whole?
That big picture is sure looking good Especially given all the extra health issues and difficulties along the journey.
You've come an awful long way in a very short time. :thumbup

You asked this in my condo but I thought I'd come post it to you in yours.

Shadow gets 1/4 of a 3 oz can basically at shot times ( with 2 shrimps added to entice her) and generally fed another 1/4 of a 3oz can
at +4 (am and pm) and then sometimes she asks for a bit more and I will give her a spoonful . I have a bunch of little tiny plates ( I think
they are the little sauce plates like in a Chinese restaurant) that a spoonful fills the plate.
And then I always make sure to offer her food around the +6 or +7 in the am cycle just because I know she won't make it all the way to pmps.
She really likes a little food every 4 hrs and it keeps her satisfied.
The biggest gap we have is generally from a +4 or +5 when I go to bed, put a dish on the bed and she eats part of it and we sleep.
and she doesn't quite eat it all and can get up and finish it when she wants.

I had been getting up but now I'm sleeping so she does have that larger gap at night now. She has been waking me up at +11 and I give
her about 4 or 5 little freeze dried turkey bites and then she lays back down.

So total now, she's getting approximately 1/4 can , 3x /day making 2 cans a day + no carb treats and the no carb shrimp.

She never ever drinks water that I can see now. I do add a little to her food especially when I give her the B12 at night.
Litter box use is once a day ( generally while we all sleep)

Thank you so much Rhiannon. It is so helpful to have as much information as possible! And your support is very much appreciated  Alexa
