Morning ~O) ~O) I am really starting my day on the wrong foot. I woke up at 11:00 pm and turned off my alarm clock, which was not ringing, so I barely made it in time for Maggie's shot. :? Yesterday I started a new vial, and instead of showing better numbers, the bg's are higher with the new vial. A couple Beans mentioned perhaps the old vial was losing potency, so this could be NDW with the new vial. That confuses me, as I would think a new vial would show better numbers vs. the old. New Vial Wonkiness was also brought up! :? :?

The other mishap is that I accidentally touched an incorrect key, and something strange happened with my ss. Can one of the Techies here take a peek, if you don't mind. I know I should go on the Tech Help forum, and I will if anyone can't help. I only have the use of my two index fingers for typing, so I often hit a wrong key. That's why some weird typos, too. Thanks a bunch.

In other great news, Maggie left me a prezzie yesterday :-D after leaving me hanging and not knowing whether I did well enough fine tuning her meds, whew! I have it down to Mags leaving a prezzie every other day. We had quite a bit of comic relief yesterday in Maggie's condo with talk of her poop, prezzie, poopateria activity, you name it. :lol: Mags is not too embarrassed.

I see your spreadsheet fine. There is a long message there in one cell. Maybe try closing the program and reopening it.

Hopefully Maggie will do some sliding today and prove to you the new vial is good.

Sounds like Maggies at least averaging out now on the prezzie's. That should be a huge relief for her colon.
Sweet girl has no choice of whether to be embarassed or not. :-D

I haven't a clue what you did. What I can tell you is when I open your SS, it doesn't indicate that I'm opening the link. Instead, it shows me as being able to edit (or that it's my SS).

If your old vial was toasty, it will take a few cycles for the good juice to replenish the depot.

All I remember is that I was trying to add a note in one of yesterday's cell, and all of a sudden I got the vertical colors and part of someone's condo typed in there - I have no idea. I often lose whole posts with the stroke of a wrong key. I've resorted to copying a post when I'm part in the condo. I have Windows Vista which I don't think has anything to do with it! I did try closing and opening. I'll try that again. BBL.

Hi Ann,

Sorry to hear that you day hasn't started the way you would have liked it to. I would think the new vial would make her numbers better so I'm not sure what's going on there. Is it possible that her shed has depleted from using the less potent juice and now she needs to fill it up with the good stuff again?!
I hope you start to see better numbers again soon and that your day only gets better from here.

Hi Ann,
Your ss looks weird for yesterday's entry (in row 961). It is blank except for the comment box, which is in a skinny column and continues for miles down the page. I suggest that you delete the entire row (row 961) and do yesterday over. See what happens. Also, look at the box at the top of your ss where the colors and their BG numbers are referenced. The black box (for BG over 500) has an e as the only text. It looks like part of a comment you were writing might have been inserted (Google error) into this box. Something similar happened to me the other day on Rusty's ss (also in the black box). I simply erased it and corrected it to read BG 500. I think there are a lot of Google issues lately. I don't think it was anything that you did.

Thanks, very interesting with the vial and depot. Hi Tamara, thanks some day here, could be worse though! :-D

I just tried logging off Google and logging back in and opening the ss and same thing. I just wish I knew which key I hit to make such an odd thing to happen!

I still think it's rather strange we don't see nicer numbers with a new vial. I didn't think her depot was empty from the old insulin losing its potency, as if you look at her +3 and +5's, she had a nice drop. If the old insulin was losing its potency, we wouldn't see those kinds of drops would we? It is better today with her numbers and slowly coming back to blues.

:shock: :shock: oh wow on your morning..... far to early for all those headaches. I am sure you have used up your ~O) supply, so here's some replenishers ----> ~O) ~O) ~O)

And yes on the vial, shed has to be restored if the old was toasty. so Maggie - help your bean out here: Blues and greens OK?

I have read/heard/had correspondence that Google has updated their stuff, has a new system in place. perhaps it has affected docs and SS stuff. Seems very common these days for me to have connection issues with them.

YAY! prezzie delivery yesterday. Way to go Mags!

That's great on the prezzie yesterday and that Maggie is still on a two day delivery instead of three days. Nice to see some blue today.

Glad you got the SS fixed and Maggie is coming down a bit. Poor little girl but so great that she had a LB prezzie.

Still rising! :? I don't think the other vial was that toasty if you look back at the ss on earlier days; i.e, September 10-13!

Thanks Michelle, Carla and Marje for visiting. Yes, the ss was indeed very strange looking for tose of who who saw it. Ella (Rusty) suggested deleting the one line and then somehow a letter got posted in the headings. Yes, very happy with the prezzie yesterday, too.

I'm sorry I missed your condo yesterday and all the discussion on poop!!

I always expect lower numbers when I start a new vial and often am disappointed that the numbers aren't better. Hopefully, Miss Maggie will start showing us her good numbers this evening.

Thanks Georgia, I guess it's been so long since I had a new vial I don't remember it happening this way. Yes, it has been a real challenge with Maggie's Megacolon issues and doing the meds, but she is such a trooper thru it all. I thought the syringe meds would be the hardest, but now she turns her face to the side and lets me syringe th meds in that side of her mouth. :-D She's making it easy on me. Yes, I sure don't like to see these yellows.

Well, we stayed in the yellow range. I guess I will raise Maggie a drop tomorrow morning. We'll see if the New Vial Wonkiness settles down. :?

This is two days on the new vial, so dosecrease tomorrow if Maggie is still on the yellow floor! I am surprised her numbers are not better by now on the new vial.

Gosh I am so behind on things since being in London! Glad to read that Maggie is settling in to her every other day poo routine and doing so well with her meds, what a trooper! Now about these yellows, Zener is setting a bad example for Ms Mags and leading her astray! I'd not read about NVW before, must be similar to NDW! :razz: I learn something new in LL all the time!

Hi, Ann,

Haven't been by your condo in a couple of days, but I noticed Maggie's numbers. Hope they start coming down. Doesn't Lactulose have an effect on the numbers? Could it be that she needs a little extra juice now that she gets Lactulose every day? Maybe that's been taken into account in the past.

So happy to see you are getting prezzies on a regular basis. (Emma was running around naked after her bath today, and she left me a prezzie -- right at the bottom of the stairs in front of the gate. Good thing it was a "good, healthy" prezzie and not messy!

Have a good weekend. I think the heat is supposed to ease up for a few days and then go back to hot again. Next week good for you, hopefully, for us to get coffee or even lunch?

Senorita Margaret -- My female servant is still poking my ears, but she quit with the needle in my flank tonight! Don't know what's going on, but I like it! Hope your mom can stop with the needle soon, too, but if not, at least get you down to the mid-yellows twice a day. You look so nice in Blue and Green! -- Don Maximiliano
