Yesterday's condo

Ebby had good greens last night but didn't surf them too long. She had a little bounce this morning, but now we're going low again. Dropping pretty quick; she just got some gravy food which she loves. I'm considering a dose reduction. If anything, I might just shave the dose a little. I've been holding off on the decrease, but if her numbers are hard to bring up today, I'll go ahead and do it.

Thanks for the company last night, Amy, Deborah, and Marje! I was wishing I had made some coffee because I was up pretty late. Helped having you here though! I'll just have to have extra coffee today. Looks like I'm going to need it.

Wow Melissa! That's one heck of a drop!! I thought China cleared bounces pretty quickly but Ebby puts her to shame!

I know how you feel about not being real sure about taking a deduction when you get that 49 though. China did it twice during her 1.25 dose cycles this last time. Before when I'd tried to decrease her back to 1, her numbers went up and stayed there, so instead of taking the full .25 last time, I went for a skinny 1.25...several cycles later she threw a 33 at me so she DID get the rest of the deduction back to 1 unit.

That 49 is a horrible number isn't it?

Hopefully Ebby will do a nice surf today and not bounce too high tonight...well, we can hope

Well, this is a new development for Ebby. Before it was taking at least a cycle, and then sometimes three before she would clear. I was actually shocked to see the 77 @ +3 today.

Yeah, it's hard to know about the reductions. I like how you did China's...easing into it. I'm treating Ebby like a long term diabetic, so 40 and under is my new reduction number. We'll see how today goes...

Wow, good catch on those 40's Melissa. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Looks like Ebby really wants a reduction. This is the fourth time she's gone below 50 on this dose and I'd be worried about the depot getting ahead of you if you don't reduce. The members who wait for multiple times below 50 for a reduction will go down after 3 times. Those are usually longer term diabetics or those who's cats have shown they can't hold reductions.

Hi Wendy! Yeah, I was on the fence on whether I should count that first time. I think that first 40 actually happened because I accidentally shot IM, and I think it messed with the absorption. I will go ahead with a reduction after this though. :mrgreen:
