Good Monday Morning, Neighbors!

Yesterday's Condo

Clare was up and active during the night and caught a mouse in the wee hours. Fortunately she let me trade it for her favorite snack, a piece of chicken breast. Today, I have a meeting for my part-time work that goes from 10-3, so DH will be managing during Clare's nadir for the first time.

We'll do a couple of tests before I leave, so hopefully Clare will tell us what's in store for her today.

He's done the shots all along and has done a few of the tests solo. He has a copy of the instructions about what to do with low numbers, which we've gone through together -- and he's assisted me a few times during the process. So he's ready. I'll be right in town and available by cell phone, so in an emergency I can be home in about 10 minutes. And our vet's office will be open all day.

Do you think I might be over-worrying? Probably my biggest problem will be trying to stay awake during the meeting. :lol: :lol: :lol:

It looks like everything went okay with DH managing things. It is hard not to worry when we can't be there for our furbabies.

You are so lucky your DH will take charge of Clare- please congratulate him from me! I agree with Carla, it is hard not to worry when you have to be gone(actually I mean it would be hard not to worry having someone/anyone else be in charge! :roll: )

Thanks for the good wishes for DH, Carla and Ruth! I'll pass them on.

He did a fine job with Clare today and I am very grateful to have a partner on this road with Clare. Let's hope that we see some greens along the way tomorrow!
