Good morning! No pink this am! finally yellow, but high yellow. I tested her last night, well, morning, at pmps+8.5 and she was 271. Maybe all these yellows from yesterday/today will mean she is going to have some nice blues and greens today. Also, gave a 2.5fu this am again, like I did a couple days ago, which got her to green. I just have automatically been back to 2.5 out of habit the past few cycles, so hopefully it will help her get to more green today. I am off to work now, and will try to update via mom later. Turned out mom was busy today! She did very good handling the low numbers today too! Here's a recap:

+5.5-59-fed 2 tsp hc food

I was way too busy today to update, but I spoke with mom at +7.(after all the fun!) @-) and then again after the +7.5 to make sure all was well. She wasn't able to test after +7.5, and I don't think she went lower. I had given her a 2.5f u again this am, after not seeing green yesterday, and becasue I just forgot to. I gave her the same dose tonight, because she hasn't held reductions that well in the past, so I think we will do the reduction after 3 times under 50, and she has been on insulin for 8 months now. Im curious to see how high she bounces and for how long now. I will test at pmps+3 and go from there.

Wow, what a day for ChiChi! Yeah Mom.

If you do the 3 reductions under 50, or one under 40, you should take a full .25U reduction. Either shaving or doing the 3 times trick are more aggressive techniques so shouldn't be combined. I hope this keeps Chi Chi in greens longer.

I hope the three times works. It seems to have helped Max. I do go for the mc if he starts to drop to fast to avoid going under 50 too.
