He's been low all day & been feeding him some 12% to get him out of sharkland but not sure what to shoot. BCS usually hits us with pinks so may avoid that, I am thinking 17u? Maybe 15u? What do you all think? Thanks for looking!

A lot depends on whether you can stay up to monitor the cycle tonight. He definitely is ready for a reduction.
I don't have experience with high dose cats, but I think I would choose trying the 18 unit dose again. However, if you need to sleep tonight, I might consider a BCS, depending upon his +12 number.
Congratulations on the reduction!

You have 17 on your spreadsheet.
You are prepared to get tests tonight, correct? He has a large depot at play.

I usually get up around 2a which will be +4 and we'll see how it goes from there. 12% will be in his timed feeder before bed & 330a & 6a, so he should be fine.

If you do a BCS, you want to take at least one third to one half off to impact that cycle at all, so that would have been 10-14 units. So keep an eye on him tonight. I agree with Dyana that I would try 18 units as his new dose, and try holding 18 units at least six cycles, unless he goes lower again.
