Mel,
Gotta be an infection still raging in there somewhere. Have you done a cbc since the dental.
When I had all the issues with Sori, her white blood cell count bounced from 7,000 to 19,000 about two weeks after we finished the antibiotic. They had gotten a clear urine culture. Somewhere else there was an infection. And judging from the bounce this weekend, the infection has flared again.
Hate taking them to the vet, but I think it is time for Autumn to be checked again. May take Sori today.

She has an appointment for Wednesday morning for her recheck and to schedule her for the rest of her dental.
Infection is the only thing I can think of as well.
