Yesterday
Trix was in an extra-super-charged lovey dovey mood this morning. When I first get up in the mornings, I spend a few minutes checking e-mail while waking up. Trix always snuggles on my lap while I do this. Today was intense "wrap my paws around the bean's arm while I rub my face on her hand" snuggly. She hopped down, got a drink of water, and came back for even more snuggles!
She also had a very good first installment of her breffis, eating much of it from the plate on the floor rather than having me hold it. She does seem to be eating more and more of her "first installments" that way, but follow up installments require the plate-holding service. Kitten steps!
Of course the mood was kinda killed when I had a hard time with her gelcap this morning :roll: . I was on a good roll of problem-free gelcaps, but I guess - like everything else kitty-related - we wouldn't want to get too confident or comfy, would we :roll: :lol: ?
When I got home from work yesterday, she was waiting right outside the laundry room...she was ready to EAT! Usually she saunters into the family room (where they eat) when she hears me prepping, but yesterday, she was one step ahead of the game. Another wonderful old behavior starting to resurface ??? I hope so!
One more long day of work, then I finally/hopefully get a breather tomorrow. Since I really wasn't home at all on either of my days off last week, I feel like I haven't had a break in a long time. Hopefully tomorrow will just be a "hang out at home" day.
I gotta thank Shelly's elephant memory for bringing up the "s*** on DH's car" incident! GIggles all night long from that... :lol: :lol: :lol: !
