Goooood morning! ~O)

Everything seems to be fine on the home front, other than Poopy being a bit more demanding about breffis...not that this is too unusual. Was able to get the syringe to stop at .75 this morning, but still shopping around for others easier on the slide action with the plunger. The Relions I'm using like to stick around the .75 area and I end up shooting a hair off, more or less. grr_red

Today will be day three at .75 so looks like we'll be increasing tonight or tomorrow.

Hi guys .. I hope poopy shows you some action today! We always used the relion syringes and thankfully never had much of a problem with them .. of course, peter was the one shooting and probably just didn't tell me if he did have problems :lol: have a great weekend guys!

I'm liking the yellows too (much better than pinks or...knock on wood...reds) but am hoping to see plenty of blues and a hint or two of green soon. I'd really like to see a sea of safe greens but know that's hoping for a bit much at this stage of the game. :lol:

Hi Teresa, I always had problems with the Relion syringes, too. I use the Monojects, but there are inconsistencies with those also.
Come on Poopy, you can show off some blues any time now. Maggie says she sees them in the near future, and she claims to have a little psychic in her.

POOPY!!! You're looking good, buddy!!! I see you're liking the new juice - me too! Sometimes it takes a little time to find the right amount, and then you'll be rolling around on the floor like I do, sleeping belly-up w/ bunny paws, and talking (very loudly) to your toys again! Ohhhhhh... you're gonna like it here!!!

I bet I missed blue today. At least I'm gonna think it! :lol:

Will be working tomorrow again but will be able to come home to test so guess I'll go ahead and raise tonight...unless anyone with more experience objects (1 hour and 20 minutes until shot time). :smile:

Hey there. I have some problems with Relion needles/syringes as well. I have some BD syringes as replacement, but want to finish the Relion 1st. I sometimes have do-overs as the the syringe plunger goes wild and releases tooo much insulin!

Hope Poopy continues to do well.
 
Thank you Ann and Maggie (I'll be sure to tell Poopy you wrote...he's circling the food area demanding dinner). Since Poopy's numbers warrant an increase, I'll go ahead with it (he's had his 6 cycles of .75).

Thanks, Snorton. I have the same problem...why sometimes the dose is a hair under or over. :roll:

Poopy rounded the AM cycle out with a PMPS at 236. Was a very busy day at work so didn't get to come home as often as I'd wished but we'll roll with it. Tested again at +3 for a 256, then at +6 for a 216. I smell blue! :-D

I was thinking, as excited as I am to hit the blues, I can only imagine how I'll feel hitting the greens...and feeling like blues are too high! :lol:

It's the middle of the night so I'm headed back to bed. Have to work tomorrow (really later today). :sad: Y'all have a great night in Lantus Land! :-D
 
Thanks, Shannan. Not sure what Poopy is thinking. Near the end, he always liked hanging out in the yellows (with the occasional blue or pink) when on ProZinc, regardless of how little or much I shot. Sure hoping Lantus changes that tune. Poopy has always been stubborn, though. No matter what tune I'm playing, he hears his own. Dang cat! :lol:

Gotta love him, though. :-D cat_pet_icon

On the brighter side, it's still early on this tune so there's still lots of room for improvement. (And Poopy thinks he's stubborn! HA!) At least he's happy and seemingly healthy. :-D
