Yesterday Mr. Greenie came for an extended visit.

9/13 Recap:
AMPS 72 +3 185 +9 80
PMPS 83  +2 110 +8 68  and yummy HC

Neko's feeling good this morning. She's currently on back yard walkabout after second breffs. There's been some good whacking again. Yet another sunny day so I expect the solarium will be her residence of choice today. We did acupressure and shot out there already and that's where she was snoozing before AMPS time. There's a great smell about late summer and the hum of bees going after the aralia elata flowers.

My heart is going out to Jill(Alex) on her loss of Alex the other day. Lu-Ann is also facing the diagnosis of cancer with Grayson. I so hope they'll be able to beat that evil beast with chemo. Grayson had stereostatic radiation therapy at Colorado State University just three weeks before I was there with Neko, so I think of him as Neko's radiation buddy.

Re: 9/14 Neko AMPS 116

Looking good, Neko! More green today? How's DM? Many more vines for her,

I'm so sorry about Alex. I hadn't seen that anywhere...

Re: 9/14 Neko AMPS 116

Hi Wendy,
We, too, are sorry to hear about Alex. Has Jill done a post? Sending vines to Grayson.

Neko is really enjoying the late summer weather. I wish we had some of that right now. She's looking great. Lagoon later, Neko?

Re: 9/14 Neko AMPS 116

Wendy,

It seems like Neko is enjoying the fall days. When DH and I visited Vancouver it was fall and so beautiful!

Here's for a long green surf in the warm solarium, Neko!

I'd love to learn more about kitty acupressure. Are there ways to learn?

Hi Wendy ~O) :-D

What a nice day for Neko, low blues, an even surf. Well done little one! :-D

I too had not heard about Alex. I am so sorry to read that, Jill was so helpful when we first stated here. Fly free Alex. i hope too that all will be well with Grayson. Paws crossed!

Have a great evening. I hope you are enjoying our sunny weather.

+9 94 I got to put Mr. Greenie on Neko's condo.

@Liz, Ella, Georgette, Carla, Michelle - Thanks for visiting on this glorious summer day. I refuse to say "fall" until after the 21st. Neko's been having a grand time in the solarium, not too hot, perfect kitty weather. I just talked to DM - she's doing better. She's figured a way to move using her walker that isn't causing any pain. She's walking backwards. But it's much faster than a couple days ago. My cousins are over today and my mother is getting showered with food from neighbours and relatives. I love that part of island living. :-D For those asking about Jill - I had noticed yesterday that she had changed her login to Alex(GA) so took a look at the SS. I haven't seen a post.

So glad to hear that your mom is able to function without much pain.

I definitely have to say it's fall because I am finding termites, grrr! It will make one of my neighbors want to tent our building again. The majority will be against it but I sure hate the fights. It's super hot here. How hot is it where you are?

Neko, nice cycle today. Please tell Max to copy your day cycle tonight. We can meet up!!

Another great cycle for Miss Neko!  Gotta love this weather and that is wonderful your mom's neighbor's pitching in to help-what a great community spirit!

I hear you on refusing to call this fall- recently someone sent me this on another forum,
"FYI - it IS meteorological fall.

"Meteorological spring includes March, April, and May; meteorological summer includes June, July, and August; meteorological fall includes September, October, and November; and meteorological winter includes December, January, and February."

However, you are correct that it is not astronomical fall yet happy.gif

I saw a post Jill made the other day on someone else's condo where she said she was still reeling from losing one of her babies last week. She didn't specify which one, so I didn't realize it was Alex until you noticed the (GA) in her signature. I'm sure we all are sorry to hear that - Jill has helped us all, either directly or indirectly, at one time or another. I hope she knows we are all grieving with her.

I see Neko surfed blue this morning, but then she went up to the yellow floor and hung out with Cinco. How nice of her to keep him company. His usual running buddies, Skooter and China, had better things to do!

I'm glad your DM has neighbors that will look out for her and lend a hand. That must give you a lot of peace of mind. Sounds like she's pretty feisty, despite her mishap. Sending more healing vines and prayers.
