9/13 Moonie AMPS 154, +3 197, PMPS 257, +2 246, +10.5 104

Moonie woke me up at 4am meowing, and as soon as I got to the living room, she started rubbing her little head aggressively on my legs. So I knew she was dropping again. We’ve been experimenting with a timed wet food feeder but it’s clearly not working so I need to start getting back up at 3am (+9 for us) to feed her again before she drops, even if it cuts insulin duration short.

Lo and behold, she’d gone from a flat +2 at 246 to 104 by +10.5.

This at least is more of her typical break pattern, where she didn’t immediately bounce into preshot. I do think we’d benefit from another midway test in the pm cycle - ideally we’d get +4, +6, and +8 but I’m really loathe to keep testing while her ears heal. I want to give it at least another week or two. So maybe I’ll do +6 and +8 or something like that. Maybe +7 if she seems a bit sensitive.

I’m kind of getting antsy for a dose increase, so I want to make sure that we understand her pattern a bit better before we do so.

Karamelle does a lot of meowing when shes low and is much more lively. Except if shes really low, then she kind of acts like when shes really high.
Same here with Moonie! When she's low or dropping fast, we get lots of meowing, head bunting, and shows of ravenous hunger (trotting to the testing room where she gets treats, licking the floor looking for food etc).

Conversely, I can always tell when she's bouncing up a lot because she starts peeing like a fire hose 😭

Look at how confident she is with that belly up. I just want to smooch her belly! 🐈‍⬛🥰

Such a smart girl. I love how she tells you she’s low 💞💪

Thank you! Her belly is very soft and very precious 🥰🥰🥰

Unfortunately Moonie has decided to bounce off into outer space to find her namesake… hopefully she’ll come back down soon. We may need to ask for a dose review at some point if she keeps this up!
