Today is day five of a new dose, and blue remains the color of choice for Mannie. Yesterday both the AM and the PM cycle was a fairly flat upper level blue surf. Still looking for those greens Mannie. Come on now - you can do it! Make this dose a keeper! Lubs ya big guy. cat_pet_icon At least this morning the bean was sort of with it, and made sure that Mannie did not have an opportunity to raid his sisters 8% fuds this morning, though he sure did try.   We start today with a low level yellow - and hope for good things today.
All is well in MannieLand.
and pretty darn normal.... YAY!!!!
   The kitty choir was at full volume this morning - all three of them. Though Mannie and Elsa chose to do their back up vocals from the stairs, and not in my ear, as had singer BJ always does. She broke the sound barrier this morning...
  Once again the troops did not leave me disappointed: the entertainment committee did show - we are back to the Elsa and BJ whack-a-thon over the water dish. Three whacks per whackee, water splashing...  and there is Mannie sitting on my lap, being tested, thinking "I so do not know them..." I can't say that I blame him. what a group! We had a great test feed shoot this AM, despite the distraction. Breffis was consumed with gusto, clean late club status remains intact. Napping is in order, as our weather is overwhelmed with a determined marine layer that does not want to leave us. What better way to spend it than napping? More or less normalcy in MannieLand.
Being Wednesday I am back on DGS duty (YAY!!) through Friday. I hope to be able to take him to Discovery Park in Seattle, where there are lots of trails (11+ miles!) and beach access. I sure do hope the weather cooperates. As long as it doesn't rain.... I know I won't be able to visit condos until late in the evening, but know that I am thinking of you all. THINK GREEN KITTIES!
My friends!!! We need FUN today! Gracie said so last night, so fun it shall be. I was thinking... I know, scary huh! Maybe some camping! with a cookout under the stars, and a lake to fish in and tents and stuff... oooooooooooo, maybe we could go to DisneyLand! I dunno... whaty'd'ya guys think? ~~ Mannie. and uh.... please ignore the pics my bean posted here this morning. so so embarrassing...
And a little OT. I always talk about Mannie'stail pom pom. Which kinda sparked a discussion the other night on what breed he is... I have always been told he was a manx, and me not knowing much on some things, really wondered, as his tail is knotted, or twisted, and it never struck me as a true manx "rear end". anyways - it was suggested by Carolyn that he is a cymric, which is a long haired Manx. after reading the characteristics - it all fits. Maybe Mannie now knows what breed he is. (psssttt - silly bean - I already know what I am - mannie),.... after all that I stated I would have to post some photos of his tush and tail pom pom so all could see. I love his tail - especially how the underside is a warm creamy color. Such contrast to the rest of his dark tabby patterned fur. So here you have it: Mannie's pom pom.
