http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/threads/9-13-luci-amps-209.219281/#post-2442813 It's been a long night in the Luci household - she wanted to have a Full Moon party of her own I think! Decided to flirt with the sharkies again - just a wee bit out of reach...but I think the shark tails fascinate her...she just can't seem to stay away from the very closest edge - I envision her leaning her head way out over the edge -peering down into that deep blue clear water, where if you look it's quite light green because it's so clear (we call it 'lime') - watching the sharks and now and then wants to reach a paw out to give 'em a flick with a claw...scares me half to death - a lot of testing ensues... I wish she'd just back up a few yards and swim a little closer to shore...not my girl...oh no...puts on her slinky suit and dives from the lemon tree - wind rippling through her fur and she blasts full speed down to the precipice of danger! Now she's tired...and so are we. Let's hope we can work in a few naps today! Happy Caturday everyone. I'll be staying home today - still in recovery mode and I can't bear the thought of going out for anyone to wonder what happened to my face! We'll just keep it in the family for now - Luci hasn't noticed a thing. I rested my head on her as she was laying there on the testing towel to listen to her purr - it's supposed to help with healing. She probably wonders what's going on there - but I need some of her healing energy - just a little Have a wonderful day everyone - thank you for your well wishes - I do believe it's working - each day is better than the last!
Luci you don't have to be so dramatic. I hope you can get lots of rest today and continue to feel better. Sending prayers.
I hope you continue feeling better each day. The feelings when they are toooo close to the sharkies is an awful one. When I am testing those low numbers I get very nervous and it seems like the meter takes forever to register that BG number....and usually it happens in the early early morning hours. Keep healing with Luci's purring and try to get some napping in
What a fun story, even though it was so tiring for the beans. So, Luci wants to stick a claw in a sharkie?! She's got quite the catitude, doesn't she. She sees those sharks as prey, oops! Holding a purring cat can help settle blood pressure, so I know it can be healing too. Luci has the special touch. Great writing, like Cassandra said! My dad had extensive cancer all over his face, and looks just fine now. So will you, Sue!
Imagine the fun you could have making up stories when people ask what happened to you....... Hope Luci takes it easy today.
OMG! What a night for you. Looks like Luci is in blue so you can get a nap in. Keep purring, Luci -- it helps your mom!
Beautiful Bg last night! If it were Ravan I'd have given him med carbs at +4 & gone back to sleep for a few hours Keep up the good work Luci
adventurous cat, that Luci -- but she has claws, sharkies will respect that -- if you can get some comfrey tea, drink that, it's very good for soft tissue healing, works for bones too --
Luci! What a party animal! I’m glad she was just teasing the sharkies and didn’t actually visit them!! Sending thoughts of quick healing your way Sue... I think the purr therapy is a great idea
Sending lots of healing energy your way Sue! Seems like a good day to curl up with Luci and have a nap!
