I just wanted to get this condo going to let people know I won't be around much the next few days as I'm helping my friend out with her garage sale ..

But I wanted to stop in and say I hope all kitties and beans are feeling good, and prayers and good thoughts/wishes to those who aren't ..

I've been hit with a nasty cold. Just got over a brutal two week long one. I posted in Leo's condo that I wish people kept their germs to themselves. No need to overshare darnit.

Three kitties are doing amazing here. I will do an update soon I promise. Henry hasn't had a poopy bum in a week wootwoot. My husbands 40th birthday is this Saturday and I haven't planned a thing. Let me know if you guys have any ideas. Right now just the pink flamingos on my todo list.

I'm having the crappiest week ever and it's not even over yet @-) Monday I was waiting for the bus to go to work as usual and there was a new driver. Bus nearly blew right past me even though I was standing right next to the bus stop sign @-) When I realized the bus wasn't slowing down, I frantically waved my arms at the driver to get his attention. The bus stopped just past the intersection. It happened again yesterday and today the bus nearly kept going to the next stop cat(2)_steam Had I not gotten on that bus, I would have waited another 20 minutes for the next bus and been at work half an hour late. So I've been in a cranky mood by the time I get to work. And then there are the issues at work that are too complicated to explain and have just added to my cranky mood @-)

And Leroy's been whiny and bugging Emma @-) He must still be under the influence of the recent full moon fll_moon

i got the bad news today that one of our big oak trees has to come down. :sad: it's probably nearly 100 years old and shades our deck & dining room. i'm sick about it - it's gotten too much water. there are 3 oaks all snuggled in the same 10' diameter bit on the ground and i think there must've been a drip irrigation head near this one. the tree guy pointed out a hole in the dirt at the base of the tree and then stuck a board right under it. there's nothing under there. he said we could wait for it to fall on the deck and house, which would probably take less than a month, and have the insurance pay or we could have it taken down now. so friday it goes.

he also told me to stop feeding the squirrels - they are eating the bark off of all the trees and causing parts to die. :sad: another vine maple tree in the front yard has to come down although it's only about 20 years old, so not quite the same scale.
