Good morning!

Nothing really new to report here. The girl was very hungry this morning and began summoning me from the bottom of the stairs at 4:45. Too bad she can't eat til 5:30 - she was not at all happy about that. She hasn't caught on to her +9 snack in the feeder yet. I think she sleeps through it and then starts getting hungry around +10. It happens in both the AM and PM cycles. I think I need to wake her up and put her in front of the feeder, but unfortunately I'm not home for the afternoon snack, and I don't know if I can get myself up for the early morning one. Usually once I'm up, I can't go back to sleep, so the idea of waking up at 2:30 is not really one I want to pursue. Maybe I'll try over the weekend, when I can take an afternoon nap!

Good morning.
Have you tried putting Emma's food in the timer and not setting it for her when you are home so she gets used to eating from it and maybe notice it.....just a thought.
I have the same sleep issue you do....it is very hard for me to go back to sleep once I am up.

nice low yellow to start out the day ... I know it's really hard in this house to ignore a hungry kitty but it happens. Every night we go into feed mocha, she is sitting right by her food bowl ... it reminds me of those older commercials where an older woman has her fingertips on a store window saying open, open, open .. I think mocha is saying feed me, feed me, feed me .. anyways, this is a great start for the day and I hope you see some nice numbers!

binks was so busy doing Search and Hoover for food that he found a 6 yr old dog biscuit a few weeks ago...emma- give him a call if you need someone to help you find the food, and i'm sure his sense of decorum will prevent him from trying to scarf it b4 you get to it.

I had to get up and point out the food in the automat for the first few times then they caught on which times the magic box opened.

Sunshiny yellow again this morning for Emma...,aye a repeat of yesterday????
I set my alarm every night for 3am...since November! I think that I do not fully awaken though~~unless I see a LOW number and then I am shocked into :o "Get the GRAVY!!!" I just straightened some pictures o my wall this morning...guess I knocked them askew while bouncing down the hallway in my stupor. :lol: I seriously do not think I could do that if I had to work the next day though.....

Oh my silly Emma. Her +9 snack was still in the feeder and the compartment was still open when I got home, but she chose to follow me around meowing, to let me know how hungry she is. I put her in front of the feeder and she ate some of her snack. It's not that she doesn't want to eat from the feeder, because she does that with the stuff I put down for her when I leave for work. She's gotten used to that. I think she just gets full enough with what I leave in the AM, and then isn't feeling the hunger til I wake her up coming in the door after work. Then she's starving, and the compartment is either closed or about to close. She's crazy.

Anyway, it's nice to see 135 at +10! We'll see how she looks at PS time. She did have her snack right at +10, so it may be a little food influenced.

That is a nice blue for Emma. Late int the cycle too so it may bode good things for tonight.

I have the same problem w/ Tess. I've thought about putting an alarm where she sleeps, so she wakes up notices she is hungry and looks for food. :lol:
