Good morning!
AMPS 342 shooting 2.5u
sigh
Boomer has had 5 (likely) totally pink cycles since his good cycle 3 days ago. I thought he would come down last night with it being the 5th cycle. Should I be looking at increasing again? @Wendy&Neko ?
Boomer ate all of his overnight fuds and woke me at 5:00 because he wanted more +9. I gave him another spoon of fowl ball and went btb. He didn't eat it. I guess he was expecting some more chicken pieces that had been mixed in the with fowl ball
Allen ate all of his chicken pate last night (usually does) and for his second dish I mixed some fowl ball with chicken pate instead of the usual turkey pate that he doesn't really like. Well he barely touched it even though chicken pate is his favourite and he sure rushes to finish off Boomer's fowl ball if any is left
MAN my boys!
So on Tuesday when I headed out right after t/f/s to find the Green Heron again I had parked the car and was headed towards the pond and the path where the herons were (hopefully) hanging out. There are two paths headed that way and they join. Just as I was approaching the intersection of the paths, a hawk flew down the other path and crossed right in front of me; I'd say no more than 6 feet away. Startled both of us lol! He landed in a nearby tree. I had no time to consider whether my camera settings were appropriate, I just aimed and shot. And he gave me exactly one shot then flew to another tree and then quickly met up with his friend and they both flew away. So here is my shot of a juvenile Cooper's Hawk. Enjoy!
