Trix has me borderline scratching my head today, but at least that "+3" is in the normal range...just barely, but Ms. P squeaked on by. The last couple days, Trix's appy was very good, but required a lot of "plate chasing"....she'd eat some, then roam off and eat some more, lather, rinse, repeat. She obviously expected me to follow her on this house tour, because after she'd take a couple steps, she'd look behind her to make sure I was there. If I stopped, she stopped  ! As cute as it was, it was also a little tiring. Fortunately, Trix is back to her more mellow version of gluttony today, staying put in one spot as I present the gold plate of noms. I wish I knew what the story was behind some these quirky behaviors our furbabies have!

It has gotten cooler here, and I saw something the other day that we are supposed to get "well above average" snowfall this winter. I'm sure those of you who were around last winter remember the toll it took on me...let's all say one huge, massive LL prayer that this "well above average snowfall" rumor is just that - and that it absolutely, positively does NOT materialize!

My Dad was starting to feel the chemo crash a bit yesterday, although he told me that he wasn't feeling nearly as bad as last time. I don't know if he was just saying that, though, but hopefully that IS the case. I'm sure the yuckiness will be peaking today.

Long work day starting shortly, followed by Notre Dame football this evening....Go, Irish! Have a great day, LL!

Funny how she has to look back to make sure DaBean is following with the plate! 'Course that's the whole point. Silly little girl.

Moderate gluttony is good, though. Even if it's a game of Trixie's design.

Have a good one.

OMG, Amy. Your mention of snow reminded me of this condo:

ETA: When DH left for swimming at 6:00am....there was s*** on his car!!! UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You had to end your post on that note, didn't ya? I was furiously scrolling through the posts thinking, "Oh my gosh, who s*** on the poor man's car?! Why isn't anybody asking that question?! How could Amy just throw that out there and not say more?!" Obviously, I was thinking about s***t rather than s***w.   Now I'm laughing so hard I have tears streaming down my face. Literally......

I so hope DH doesn't have lots of s*** on his car this winter!

Hopefully your dad really is feeling better this go round. Maybe he was more mentally prepared for it this time, which is helping??? Regardless, sending lots of prayers his way. :YMHUG:

I don't think I'll ever forget it. This one and Marje's shooting DH were two of the funniest moments for me on LL.

Re: 9/13 Trixie AMBG 148 "+3" 119

Shelly has a memory like an elephant. I wouldn't have thought of that, but I sure remember when it happened, now that she brought it up! Too funny!

You know, Trixie is just testing you to make sure you are still remembering your training! Apparently you passed.

Did your dad take his anti-nausea meds in advance this time? Maybe that's why he's feeling slightly better. Sending good tummy and general feel better vines and more prayers!

Re: 9/13 Trixie AMBG 148 "+3" 119

Hi Amy,
I am glad Trixie is eating better. :-D
Lucy used to "walk" me like that too.

I do remember the last winter.
I hope it will be milder this year.

Sending many vines to your Dad.

Hi Amy! I'm so glad Trixie is still doing the slide and the appy is good today. The plate chasing if funny, and I had to do it sometimes too. Their cute and sometimes baffling (if a bit tiring or stressful) little quirks just makes us love them more:) I hope your DD feels better and I am sending vines for his continued well being.

Ok, you all just caused me to LOL at work. It's a good thing I was alone at the time:P I too remember that condo and thinking the same thing, and scrolling through to see if there was anything else about it as I thought that was pretty important to talk about more! And I hope that you never see s**t on the car...or much s**w, haha. We had some of the white stuff the other day as a "hey winter is coming" but we're back to sun fall weather now:) (Thanks for the laugh, Shelly!)

Well, I hope you have a good weekend:) Hugs to you!

Nice start for Trix this evening. DH gave her a late afternoon snack, and we all know how Ms P luvs fuds, so I'm sure that helped with giving this nice number.

Thanks for the memory, Shelly...I've been giggling all day  ! I hope I don't have to use THAT 4-letter word all winter this year.

I've been laughing all day, too. In fact, DH came to check on me because he thought I was crying!

When I read your post that day, a million thoughts raced through my mind in just a few seconds. In no particular order, here are a few of them:

  • 1. Oh my gosh, why would someone s*** on the car? What kind of enemies does the DH have?
    2. Did they catch whoever did it?
    3. Oh my gosh, how could Amy's reaction just be "UGGHHH"? How often does this happen?
    4. What kind of neighborhood do they live in?
    5. What is wrong with her? Someone just s*** on the car, and she acts like it's no big deal. Just "ugghh." If someone s*** on my car, I would be sayin' a lot more than that. Is she just used to people s****ing on the car?
    6. What is wrong with these people who are responding on her thread? They're not even asking about it? They're just saying they're sorry to hear it? Am I the only one who lives in a neighborhood where it is very uncommon for people to s*** on other people's cars?
    7. What kind of crazy website am I posting on?

Tears, Amy....I literally have tears running down my face again.

Rachel, thank you so much for letting me know I wasn't the only one who thought that little tidbit of information was pretty important to talk about some more.

 Shelly, you got me laughing so much my stomach started hurting. I remember that.

I'm glad Trixie is back to being gluttonous today. I hate those plate chase days.

Sending prayers for your dad. I hope he's not feeling too bad and it passes quickly.

Well done, Ms. P. :-D Does the Trixster avoid another pokey tonight? Amy would probably prefer s**t to s**w.   Mega vines for DF for feeling better and better.

Damn, you are killing me, Shelly    !!! Tears running here, too!

All logical questions, my friend....all logical questions. When you stop and think about it, you are really the one to blame. After all, including that all-important "w" at the end of the word could have prevented all of this.

Ah, true...logical questions for sure. But, in my eyes, there really isn't much of a difference in the meaning of the word whether it ends in "w" or "t", therefore leaving the last letter off was both intentional and strategic!
