ohmygod_smile Here we go again. I debated how to handle his cycle last night. I did feed him a little early at 3.5 (based on the 118 being a pretty steep drop from an hour prior), then gave him 2tsp of lc at bedtime when he was down to 80. Probably should have checked again in an hour, rather than 2hrs. He may have gone lower since he doesn't always get a big food spike... but with both a meal and some extra food in such a short time, I figured it was fine. Two hours later he was higher, but not super high... then this morning I get "greeted" by the darned meter.
I was really hoping he wouldn't bounce from the 80, since he didn't on the 116 the other night.
I'm not sure how to handle these fast drops. LC doesn't seem to give him enough to slow the drop. But I'm reluctant to give hc when it's not an emergency situation. I guess I could try getting some small cans of a high quality mc for this purpose. I have FF gravy lovers for hc... but it's basically "medicine" in my book - it's not a food I'd want to feed regularly. But perhaps a mc food of high quality would be good for this. Open to suggestions. Should I just let him bounce? It seems like we were making progress by preventing the bounces, though also preventing great nadirs.
