WCR: Some Ps in place. Shasta's not feeling well this afternoon. She's tried to get her poops out, but only little bits and pieces are coming out. :oops: Poor girl. She ate pretty decently this morning, but as of +3, her appy has been pretty nonexistent. I know she's hungry, but everything I put out for her, she takes a few licks and then walks away. She was super cuddly, lovey and talkative this morning, but now she just looks like she's in pain. She keeps licking her bum. Also, she threw up a little hair and clear liquid the last time she went to the LB. I haven't given her any Cerenia today, but I'm headed that way at next poke time. She'll also be getting 100 mL squids today. My poor little girl. :( Oh, and her allergies are really bothering her today... weepy/itchy eyes were this morning's torture.

It definitely sound like she's constipated. When my civvie Frankie has extra constipation issues, she does that spit up after trying to poop thing, too. How much Mirilax is Shasta getting? I wonder if you should increase it...some of the meds like cerenia and bupe can aggravate constipation issues...

Poor little Shasta! Can't remember if you've tried pumpkin and/or baby food squash for her? The squash sure helped Cinco. I'm trying to figure out how to get it into Minka, as she's having constipation issues, too. I may resort to the syringe, as she does not like it, and isn't eating anything, anyway.

Thanks, everyone. We'll take all the vines you want to throw our way. It's been a long night of kind-of eating to no eating and no pooping...but she has been farting! And while that blue PMPS looks lovely, it was brought on by lack of fuds. At this rate, I don't think I want to give her a shot tomorrow morning. If I thought standing on my head would have gotten her to eat more tonight...I would have done it. The Cerenia (1/2 tab at dinner) seemed to help then, but not so much now. @Amy&TrixieCat - she gets a little less than 1/4 teaspoon of Miralax in the morning and I add water to all of her pates. I'll give her a little tiny bit extra in the morning. @Tricia & Cinco - we used to do squash...until she started refusing to eat those fuds and we tried pumpkin over the summer...same story. :oops: I know she's hungry because when I pull out the PureBites Chicken treats...she's all over me. I did get her to eat a little extra by sprinkling the some shredded PureBites on her fuds (she hasn't gone for that one in a long time). Also tonight, she got her squids. Hoping that helps her feel better. :bighug: Thanks again!!!
