Hi everyone,
Just popping in to say hello.
We are still struggling with our numbers. I just increased the dose 1/2 unit from 2 units to 2.5units.
I am going to open a new pen of insulin tonight to see if that makes a difference.

Mickey has been bad. I just got the sheet rock up in my bathroom. The other day I was walking by and I see him standing oddly with his tail in the air. Yep, he peed on the wall. :-x
When I got home from work yesterday, I was talking to the contractor and he said that he peed on the tarp that was in the shower the other day.

I am not sure if this peeing behaviour is because I have a new foster kitten in the bedroom in a cage. He is an orange boy with mild CH in the back end. Not too sure of this yet because he is still so afraid of me. But he does purr when he plays with his toys and the other cats come to visit. And when he feels like it, he will let me snatch him up and pet him. With purrs.

3U worked before, so hopefully it will again. I would like a few more mid cycle tests before increasing so rapidly, but his preshots look like previously when you were working up the dose ladder.

You meant 3U, right? Post says you increased to 2U :?

We've had the prozac discussion? I suggested it to a friend of mine whose cat has begun peeing everywhere after a move and a dog introduced to the household, but she hasn't gone to vet yet. You're not alone.

Maybe Mickey doesn't like the guy putting in the bathroom!

No I am sorry, so very tired this week. My next day off is the 26th of this month, marathon, started the 8th....ack! (girl out on maternity) I will try to get some #'s tonight if I can keep my eyes open past 8pm.

I increased 1/2 unit. from 2units to 2.5 units

The bathroom guy...yep we usually have a quite home..Next step painting then the accessories, towel bar etc.
I am an awful parent..I have the prozac and haven't given it to him. I tried a second time, then forgot for 2 days and I am awful.

Oh no, Peggy, you're not awful! Most of us have been there - I have forgotten meds, even the shot, from time to time. It's rough. I work a lot too, so I know how it is because even though you're home, there's still no down time for you.

I used to forget Tigget's methimazole pill all the time. I never had a problem doing Gandalf's stuff really, so I tried doing Tigget's pill right after his shot, but I'd have to feed him first, then I'd get online or watch TV and still forget! So I tried to think when would be a good time for me to give it. The AM didn't work 'cause between Gandalf and getting myself ready for work and everybody fed & cleaned up after, I had no moment left. I didn't like doing it in the evening because I'd forget, plus there are days when I'm not home till after 10PM and it's supposed to be given every 24 hours regularly, kind of like insulin. Then I realized I could probably manage doing it right before I went to bed, like right before I brushed my teeth. It's one pill, I got a syringe of water and squirted that after it, which she loves and it's become a pretty easy thing and I rarely forget it anymore. But I made it a separate event instead of trying to combine it with what I did for Gandalf or when I had other things going on.

Don't know if that will help you or not. I was surprised how simple it became, but I struggled to remember to do it before I separated it from other things. And I felt stupid because I forgot.

If it's any consolation, I have to work 12 days straight starting Friday. At least next week I get off earlier for several days. that will help.

Thanks Vicky  Glad to hear I am not the only one. But that is a very good idea to pill with toothbrushing.

You are working 12 days straight too! Hope it goes fast for you.

I do have a light at the end of the tunnel tho. VACATION!! Key West for two weeks..Cannot wait to just lay by the pool and do nothing but read and reapply sunscreen...lol
