Very grumpy about me brushing her and trying to get mats out. She has never "loved" being brushed but sometimes I wonder if hurts due to a nerve thing. None the less, I did get some out. She was sitting up last night hafter a snack and then shook her head hard throwing herself off balance and causing her to flop over to her side. She still has some muscle weekness. I noticie it too when she gets off the bed to head to the litter box..sometime sshe has to stop halfway and take a second before going on.

This morning, purring and screaming for breakfast.

Mine absolutely hates brushing too. I was suspecting a nerve thing as well but I think we are just sensitive to everything.... needles... brushes.... :roll:
I haven't had the losing balance thing but we've got a few years behind Izzy.


I saw your post on the cleaning up ll....
I also think you are doing fine. It doesn't matter if you post in the evening or morning.

There are some who will post one question, and another, and another all in the same day....
They are just trying to keep all the one's needing help on one page and if everyone posted more than one condo a day.... it could wrap around to a second page where someone really might get missed.

I agree with Rhiannon. It doesn't matter when you post -- unless you need help. We're interested in hearing how Izzy is doing. There are certainly some days when I update my first post with my subsequent test numbers when I get to work.

Very nice blues for Izzy! Good job, MDK. :-D It's hard to figure out everything here. It took the two of us at least a year. :roll: :lol: :lol: The main thing is to take care of your sweet kitty and you're doing a super job.

My civvie long haired kitties do not enjoy the mat thing either...and neither do their beans! Hungry for breakfast is a good thing, though!

Please do post when you can. The "cleaning up" condo seems confusing, but we really do love (and need!) to hear how each other's kitties are doing - we just need to be sure that the "emergency" condos don't get bumped out of sight. We also understand that everyone is very busy outside of LL and FD, too, so if you can't post Izzy's condos, or can't visit condos, it is no worry. Yes, we even want to know the little details (surely you have seen all the poo reports that go on in LL :lol: !!), because we are just one big family! The moral support here is key to treating FD as well, so we are here for each other in that sense, too.

Long fur cats and their mats!!
Lucy LOVES brushing only on the back side and only until I touch her mats.
She is really sensitive about me touching her mats. :-x
And most of the worst mats are on her belly side anyway. :-x
